i dont want to take anyting away from jefferson, they played goood defense and scored on their chances however.....
Burnsville was without their starting goalie, as well as wings zack king and charlie mosey and defenesman eric wittchow was out not that it made a difference but i cant wait to see the next matchup..
Who is jeffersons best player by the way?

I could not pick one player out of the jags roster that is "The Best". I would say That Pauluk, LaBombard, Herbert, Faust are their best players. Thats just my opinion.

I agree with rbk, those four are there top players, as for the player that will probably lead them in points I would have to choose Herbert.

seek & destroy wrote:Decent game but a little sloppy. Burnsville was using a number of fill in players and still made for an exciting game. Jefferson doesn't appear to be as big of a threat as many thought they would be based on this game. It will be interesting to see what happens when BV plays them again with their regular starting line up instead of the subs.
Give this one to the Jaguars but look forward to an exciting game next time they meet in Burnsville!
The first two periods were all Jefferson, Burnsville had 10 good minutes in the third. One of their goals was a gimme as Jefferson D was sloppy with puck right on side of goal. The score should have been about 10 -2 if you look at shots on goal, it was about 7 to 1 in favor of Jefferson.

I think the shots were 46-16 for Jefferson, pretty lop sided but according to my 2nd grade math skills thats a little closer to 3-1 than 7-1

Well i predicted the score to be 4-2 and indeed it was 4-2. The game itself though wasn't as close as the score indicates. Jefferson dominated the Blaze in the first 2 periods to make it 4-0. It seems as if after the first two periods the Jags intensity dropped a little and give credit to the Blaze for taking advantage of that. Anyway if you expected a blowout by the Jags then you are just crazy because no decent program in the Lake will ever let another team blow them out. Give the Jags credit where credit is do because they won a good one on saturday
