Blame one kid for a teams loss. I can't take it anymore. This website is going to have to shut down.

What should the Kid do next quit hockey? 2nd place just isn't good enough.

I feel bad for this Kid. I hope you don't play for rapids and he will have to listen to you talk about how he cost them the championship. Have you ever had a bad day or have things always gone your way.

We have to blame someone its the American way.

Maybe Edina was just the better team. They have made many teams/ goalies look bad this year.

HAHAHAHA do you know how stupid you sound! I am pretty sure if you ask any one on the team they would not say their goalie lost us the game. It's sad how people blame others, if he is not the greatest goalie he sure should be a good goalie, if there team made it to state.

I was there , the GR goalie played good , no fault in that dept. Edina goaile Played great only allowed the 2 goals when they were down 2 short in the last 3 minutes, problem I saw was Rapids could not convert on their early power plays , kept triing to make the nice goal instead of shooting and going for the slop, all in all Edina was a bit faster and their goaile play Great , GET OFF THE BACK OF 13 old kid, my GOD I bet you GREAT when you were young, the kid played good and the goals that were scored were some pretty darn good goals by hard work on the Edina team

I agree completely. This goalie wasn't bad at all, in fact, none of the goals I saw were what I would consider soft. The referee, however, was SO BAD on both sides, he made a mockery of the tournament. Congratulations to Edina and Grand Rapids on outstanding seasons and as much as I enjoyed watching the game the officiating left a bad taste in my mouth.

Edina's goalie played outstanding. So did entire Edina team. GR had chances. It wasn't one persons fault GR lost. GR went through Woodbury and EP in tough games to get there and played good all weekend.

you guys that are saying shepard sucks are IDIOTS!!! He is not the best, but come on this kid is only 11. He is in sixth grade. He doesnt need morons like you guys saying its his fault they lost the game. and last time i checked there is more than a goalie on a hockey team. this kid is young in age, but also physically young. He will devolop into a great goalie. He is a good goalie, and he is only a first year.

I can't belive the posts blaming the entire game on a goalie. Come on be realistic and be bigger than your brain. How do you think Grand Rapids reached to play in the Championship game? Simple answer as a TEAM. Did the forwards capitalize on there opportunities? Obviously not, so how can you blame 1 individual? One more thing I don't know who this goalie is but, I will bet, you will see this goalie for loooooooong time . No need to keep going this is ridiculous.

Last I looked hockey was a team game, so one guy can't lose a game for you. I've been around the team all year, there goalie is actually very good and only a first year player and not one time did the coaches say " Our goalie cost us the game." Unstoppable Rapids is a one line team!

Let me tell you 2 goals will not win a State Championship. Enough said, stop singling out the goalie.

Do not single out a PWA goalie by name on this board ever. That kid was the only goalie on his team and he let them to a state championship game. Must have been real bad...

We only have 3 goalies in the pee wee program and one just started playing this year.
