Give me a break. Lou is a fossil. Retire! The main factor for Minnesota losing the Stars. Tonight It'll be all about Edina. The best thing about going to watch the tourney at the X is that I don't have to listen to Lou.

Sorry, but Bronco Nagurski is a fossil, Lou is stating his opinion and doing a h*** of a better job than any of you haters could do.

Housley... he comes from South St. Paul...what more needs to be said?

But...the best of the announcers has to be "The Professor" who looks like a deer in the head lights reading that teleprompter between periods! His beady little glasses dropped down to the end of his nose and squinting like he's taking an eye test for the DMV is absolutely comical. Listening to him drone in a nice MN monitone as he waxes poetically about Willard Ikola was a classic!

Let's fire the lot of them and bring back Wally Shaver!!!! HA!!! Or better yet, perhaps a couple of kids from the Rainy River CC can give us "Great White North" version of hockey commentary....aye!

That simple? What if I want to watch the game though? During the Edina game all he could talk about was how good Edina was. BSM played a pretty good game also.

Do you want to cry a little bit more, shut up, were all minnesotans here with the exception of Wisconsin and ND people, Minnesota is not split up between North and South, Were Minnesota for a reason people.

What?

Lou is very southern biased and you can tell. I would have loved BSM beating Edina because that would make Lou sick. Doug Woog should be a commentator because I really believe Housley and Nanne are no good.

apparently none of you northern complainers about Nanne didn't listen Thursday night when he had nothing but great things to say about Roseau. I guess I don't understand how or what changed form one night to the next .............................

i dont recall saying he was biased...last year he had his man crush on White from Rapids. I just think he should do more commentating and less concentration on one player. i have no problem with the south teams and i congratulate hill and edina and i am looking forward to the game.

This is exactly it. He gets his man crushes (sometimes it might be a team crush). He has definitely had his crushes on some northern teams/players.

When I played in the tournament for Edina, can't say I ever felt like he was great things about us. That was during the Dave Spehar years. There may as well have been no one else playing in the tournament.

One other thing. During the Roseau/Blaine game, I was thinking, "Wow, Ness looks impressive. But could Lou put a cork in it for two seconds??"

scotch, scotch, scotch, I love scotch, watch it go down...

Lou's a windbag that knows just enough to make him dangerous. The Gap between Lou and some that actually know could fill volumes. Talk to a real old timer, only you won't find them on t.v. or radio (that should be the first hint). You could cut a player in half and only let them see only their legs as they skate and they could tell you everything about the kid. Shooting hand, style of play, position, out look on life, politics and religion. Lou likes to read the prompter.

My favorite is the portrayal of Lou on Miracle. I laugh every time I watch that movie.

This is a bit unfair. Lou Nanne has forgotten more about the game than most of us will ever know.
