Pembina Valley

What I heard at last year's Easton Cup was that the Fargo Metro Grizzlies were short kids at the 1994 level. If you searched Pembina Valley you saw that it's a small town, near the North Dakota/Canadian border, probably short AAA players too. I heard two small organizations merged to form the 1994 Pembina Valley Hawks. I don't know if they have other teams at other levels.
They beat the Minnesota Rangers in the championship of the 1994 Open Easton Cup 2-1 with a goal with 1:20 left.

Pembina Valley is a region in southern Manitoba, same as the Red River Valley. not a small town

They were in Grand Forks last weekend and ended up in 4th. They lost to the 2nd and 3rd place teams by 6 goals.
It says in the program that they are from Elk River. They were in the other pool so I didn't see them play but for a few minutes when they played the Pembina Valley Hawks and they were outplayed by them.
