I am amazed how everyone has counted Austin out.....Yes a definate underdog. But seemed to have beaten both #2 and #3 seeds during the season. Lets not count the chickens before the egg hatches. Its Saturday's game that determines who goes to State.. tonight is just a warm up.

Austin is very over rated. May have the best player, but not the best team. Faribault or AL goes to state.

This is how confident I am. If Austin goes to state, I will never post on this forum again. That you can take to the bank. AL don't hold your breath.

Faribault is the greatest.

My statement was made tongue in cheek  and intended to be fun  . Unfortunately, not all of the people who visit this thread are as familiar with the jabs that have gone back and forth for the past couple years. Some people miss the humor in falcons posts, in fact some of his posts lack humor entirely and are simply not funny :P. I can see how someone new to the forum could take offense if they read just one or two pages, but keep in mind that this "chatter" has been going back and forth for almost 2 seasons - non-stop! While I cannot specifically address exactly what falcons intentions are with his posts, I can say that it has been my experience that he just likes to "stir the pot", bait other posters just to see what kind of response he can get from people. Sure, some of it is outlandish and surreal, but his goal is to get a reaction. You have to take what he posts with a grain of salt :P and just consider the source first :P :P

Wow! That's a bold statement! Although not really when you consider that your daughter is a Senior and once the Falcons are out of it (tonight) you won't have a reason to follow the Section  . Unless, of course, you follow in your brother ZAMBONI's footsteps.

after reading Falcon and Olympia...GO ALBERT LEA!!! It would be so nice to be bird free on the forum next year....One can only hope. \:D/

Funny. Do I understand this right. If Austin goes to state this forum becomes bird free? Does that mean just the falcons89 id or all of your ids?

Does this wager also apply to AL going to state?

Maybe the wager should be if Faribault does not make it to state?

Then again this site could be boring bird free.

The promise only applies to Austin going to state. Not AL. Why would I make a promise with AL going to state. AL is the clear favorite. It applies to my one and only falcons89 id.

Do not worry my faithful followers, I am going no where. The section championship is decided tonight.

Does anyone know who falcons89 is to say he/she even has a daughter that is a senior? I do know little of falcons89, just that he/she makes some pretty funny comments, Albert Lea dislikes him/her. What if it is somebody from Albert Lea who likes to stir the pot?

Redwing has a nice young team that is well coached. Their best is yet to come.

The shocker
Faribault 6
Albert Lea 0
AL was missing their caoch due to illness. I still believe this team has a lot of talent and a great group of girls.

What a great night. I could talk trash, but being the big person I am, I will only say........

RIP Albert Lea.

We won't hear from them for awhile. Great game girls, Krista had a great night.

We are the champions, We are the champions, Where is the best hotel in St. Paul to stay. :D :D :D

He who laughs last, wins. I could not resist.

Lesson in humility for AL. All the talk and no walk. Where did it all go wrong for Albert Lea?

Sweeps Mankato West by beating them 3 times. Wins the Austin tourny with authority then falls apart at the end. I still can not believe our dominance last night. There has to be some excuse? Of course we are the greatest. Austin might as well not even show up. Their JV line will be no match for us. IT IS A GREAT DAY IN FARIBAULT.

FARIBAULT IS THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!

I think Falcon 89 did a lot more of the talk for albert lea then they did for themselves.

I have one good thing to say about Faribault after last night...
They were probably the only arena that left their concession stand open long enough for us to get food after the games. Thanks

No, I think AL did more talking than any one individual could imagine. But, hey if that thought helps you heal over your long offseason(longer off season than Faribault, again :D ) than more power too you.
By the way, where were all those all-stars you talked about last night?

FARIBAULT ROCKS. The Pack will be our next victim.

There's a nice place on University and Lafayette, NW corner. It's about a mile and a half from the X. You'll fit right in--it should be perfect for you.

Congrats Faribault, you won. Now move on. Lessons in humility are tough, but good life lessons none the less. It is usually much harder for kids to learn how to lose, but in your case, a lesson can be learned in how to win. I have glanced at this forum many times, and have even had a chuckle at times with RSI and your playful banter. Lately you have definitly gone too far. Leave the young girls alone. There is one team that came out of that game winner's, be happy and supportive of them for what remains, they might have a tough loss coming their own way? Who knows? My experience in hockey is that the preparation for the battle and the battle itself are fought very hard. When it is over, heated combatants then shake hands and the victors are very humble, almost apologetic. That does not fit you. Please leave the young girls alone, battle with RSI all you want, he has a quick wit and years under his belt to guide him.

Dwatcher17,
Getting a bit to confident i see. You better hope that happens. [-o< Here is some good advice for your team. Dont say it on the forum show it on the ice.
You can trash talk all you want on this forum but this forum doesnt choose who goes to state.
Packers could go all the way. It just matters if they want it enough.
I have seen the way they can play and if they play like that they just might have it. It's a whole team effort in this game not individuals.
