Edina is 9-0 away, 4-1 neutral, and 9-0 at home. They should win this one at Minnetonka.

isnt it true that edina has dominated at minnetonkas home arena throughtout the years. does anyone know the exact numbers. they said it on the last time these two teams were on fsn but i remember it was like a really lop sided number? thanks

Edina won 4-0 last year at Minnetonka, but that was following a tie at home in the first game of the season series. I think this is a great game for Edina to make sure everything is in prime condition before their post season run.
Edina 6
Minnetonka 2

Edina is 9-0 away, 4-1 neutral, and 9-0 at home. They should win this one at Minnetonka.
What is Edina's record Away when they play a real good team? Probably just 1-0. And maybe not even that because Centennial isn't quite up to par with Minnetonka. Road wins over Burnsville and Duluth East are impressive too, so maybe 3-0. Just pointing out that it isn't quite so simple.
Minnetonka could be 10-0 at Home too. (Probably close.) So what?
This should be another very good game. I'm on record for picking Edina because I thought they controlled play with the exception of the stretch after they took 2nd period penalties.
As far as the ultimate goal, this one really doesn't matter for either team. As far as the league title, it won't change things because Edina will win - barring a loss to Armstrong Thursday.

their first line would have to all get sick and not play, and even then it would be close

Can't happen in this case, but I would like to see a loss before the playoffs begin. Teams on extended rolls often become derailed come one and done time. A loss can
really, really help to re-focus.

Tonka 4 Edina 2
Edina's D are not very good at playing defense and I think Tonka will play better in this one than they did last time.

I see a split here. Tonka is too good to lose again to Edina, at home.

Great game last time, both teams fought hard but edina was eventually able to pull away late in the game. I see this being another great game, should be a great atmosphere and i said before the last game that i thought the two would probably split the series so sticking with that prediction i will take Tonka.
Edina vs. Minnetonka round 2

Edina will beat them again. Minnetonka is more interested in going to their Sweet Hearts Dance than playing hockey.

The Hornets roll in this one, 5-2, making a statement to the Rams as to who truly is #1 in the State.
