An article in the Grand Forks Herald (dated 12/21/07) says 13 years @ Blake. Very good article. Very good coach.three_pac_shakur wrote:i'm pretty sure he coached a few years before he came to jefferson at blake possibly, but i don't know how many wins he got there. aside from the jefferson team last year, it seems as if he has had a impressive record as a coach
The article states he took over a Devils Lake(ND) team in 1984 that went 2-19 two years in a row prior to him being there and he lead them to the State tourney the following 2 seasons. Then moved on to coach Fargo South to a few State tourneys. Then got hired at Blake staying there for 13 years, ranked in the top 10 numerous times, with a few State Tournament appearances, and was also a key figure into the big dollar renovations to Blake's Arena. His Blake team also ended Jefferson's 69 game win streak in the mid-90's. Also was Saterdahlen's top pick as his replacement...cuda701 wrote:An article in the Grand Forks Herald (dated 12/21/07) says 13 years @ Blake. Very good article.
