Good game for the Indians. Battling injury and illness, they went out and did what they were supposed to do. The only reason there weren't more goals scored was the stellar play of Eveleth's freshman goalie. He's going to be one to watch in the coming seasons. Next up - Hibbing, and hopefully a little revenge. Time to get things cranked up for the stretch run.

I agree the 9th grade goalie from eveleth stood on his head, second and third periods where outstanding, the kid is good,he has a good glove side.

Ok you left me no choice. The rapids power play needs serious improvement,we gave away to many.

You're not gonna like this, but I agree on that point also.

We should have used that as a power play shooting gallery, instead of passing practice.

I have seen him play a handful of good games this year. Its too bad his team quits in front of him in the third period all the time when they fall behind. (See games against Mound-Westonka, Virginia (twice), International Falls (twice), and now Grand Rapids.)

One very alarming not from this game:

Grand Rapids was 1-for-8 on the power play.

Yep. I have them all saved, just have to transfer them over to the website. I will probably work on that tomorrow. It has been a busy weekend.
