pretty off topic, but Proctor parents are awful.
That's been true for years...
Really? Wow, what a great reputation to have.

The first chant we did was a 'sieve' after the 5th goal and their rebuttal was yelling "You're losers!" at us. Some mom decided to flip off the student section, and the rest of them called a cop and the AD over. All over one sieve chant. Honestly, get a clue- its a hockey game.

Rosmeount-2

Final

Very physical game that got a little out of hand both ways. Shots were about even, but Rosemount let in a couple soft goals late to give the game away. These two teams definitely don't have a lot of love between them. It was definitely one of the more entertaining games I've seen this year though.

I saw that... I was talking to on off-duty officer during the game, and he was saying that there is no way the police can do anything about chants unless they contain threats,.... Featherstone, the AD, on the other hand..... he may do something about it, I don't know. He also commented to me that last year, he and another officer had to haul out a drunk Proctor parent because he made threats to a student from RW. Classy.

I'm actually surprised it was only 12 for HM. I remember the game Simley had against STA earlier this season, it was running time for the ENTIRE 3rd period. How about this game, running after the half way point of the 1st or... lmao!

And by the way, who scored for Simley?

Centennial 7 Champlin Park 1

Shots on Goal
Centennial - 30
Champlin Park - 5

Champlin Park didn't get their first shot on goal until the 5:50 mark of the second period. They even had a breakaway and missed the net in the beginning of the second period. They seemed to be very frustrated in this game as the Rebels got pretty chippy. I heard they had to practice after the game. True or not? I'm not sure.

Cougars Scoring
#9 Tyler Pitlick - 2 Goals
#20 Jake Larsen - 2 Goals, 1 Assist
#22 Kyle Stutz - 1 Goal
#27 Ryan Kolak - 1 Goal, 1 Assist
# 11 Dave Schreiner - 1 Goal
#6 John Bealka - 1 Assist
#7 Charlie Aus - 1 Assist
#13 Chris Kueppers - 1 Assist
#17 Jordan Lovick - 3 Assists

Rebels Scoring
#22 Corey Grandner - 1 Goal
#7 Alex Keston - 1 Assist

That's what happens in rivalry games. No matter how bad one team is and no matter how good the other team is, more often than not, it ends up as a close game.

It use to be that way many times between Mariner and White Bear.

I believe it was EP's 2nd goal, it was batted in with a high stick. Refs missed the call. Also #15 for EP showed absolutely no class.

I agree completely. The officiating was very poor throughout, and that second goal was a big momentum switch. It was clearly put in with a high stick, and when my 7 yr old comments on it before I even had a chance to, I would've expected the refs to pay a little better attention.

#15 from EP was absolutely the most classless player I have seen all year. He was a very average hockey player, and was only on the ice to throw cheap shots and mix it up. EP as a team didn't show a lot of class, but Rosemount did their fair share of jabbing back. I was a little disappointed in JT Brown's attitude tonight, as he seemed to retrograde back to last year and show some signs of immaturity as he let the physical part of the game get in his head tongiht. Hopefully he can keep his cool as he is a very important part of this team's success this year.

Agreed wbmd
I wouldn't go to to many games if I knew the end result before hand.
The big surprise was the number of Hill fans that showed up for the Tartan game - why? if they knew a win was imminent?

Really? I was impressed by Brown's ability to stay calm. He didnt retaliate when #15 appeared to be throwing punches at the back of his head.
