what makes you think he won't learn?

So he is just like 90% of all college students, has a few drinks to unwind everynow and then. Taking a leak in public probably wasn't the brightest decision but who hasnt been stuck somewhere or been far from a bathroom when theyve had to go before, honestly.

This may come as a shock to everyone on this board but...Gopher players drink too, and yes even the underage ones.
Jacketfan06 must not have ventured off to college yet. Kids get tanked and take a leak if they have to. Not uncommon. Oshie, that criminal!
I agree, it happens at college all the time. But it is still against the law. He shouldn't be above the law just because of who he is.

Agreed, Goldy. What I am saying to the people who say "when will he learn?" is that it happens a lot in college, not just this particular kid. It's not as if Oshie committed pull-tab fraud or got a DWI, he took a leak.

... or pulled a Kevin Quick and stole his roommate's credit card and went on a spending spree.... There is some serious stuff going on, peeing in public isn't that big of a deal if there weren't some young girls around or something like that..

At least it has been dealt with, unlike the UofM underaged drinking caught on tape and aired on Public Television.

I agree, the station that aired that in MN should have lost it's FCC licensing

A couple of college kids caught in a bar last year and this is big news? This is about as newsworthy as that worthless channel nine bust of the Gophers players at Station 19. I know these student athletes need to be held to a higher standard but come on...Oshie and his buddy had a few beers and took a leak in public. I hardly think this is criminal.
Tell that to Dino Ciccarelli.
