I wouldnt want to see the Hawks go again. I'm gonna be pulling for Denfeld but i wouldn't be upset is Sauk made it to the X this year.

I had nothing to do with tonight's game. Quite frankly, I am surprised at the outcome given the Crusader's current situation.

Ah, well that just shows there's more to the Crusaders than their top defensemen. Seedings come out Wednesday night, correct?

They might have been missing three more contributors too, but who's counting?

Tomorrow night they'll come out.

I don't think Sauk Rapids' 3-2 loss at the hands of Sartell will have any impact on seedings, but we'll see.

I know the Hawks had a few with the flu....no excuses though. All of these teams seem as if they could win on any given night, so it should be interesting :!:

Exactly right, gotta play with what you've got. I was just surprised that SCC came away with a W given they've fallen on tough times (loss to SR).

After Tuesday nights play im gonna have to think the seeding will be:

SCC
Sauk Rapids
Denfeld
Hermantown.

Anyone agree?
And did SCC and Sauk only play once this year?

They only played once. I think SR will get the #1. But I wouldn't be surprised if SCC got the #1 given common opponents...SCC 9-1...SR 6-8.

1. Cathedral
2. Sauk Rapids
3. Denfeld
4. Hermantown
5. Mora

Don't know for sure the rest...I think it went like...6. Pine City, 7. Proctor, 8. Princeton 9. North Branch, 10. Moose Lake...only sure on the first 5...unless they're pulling my leg.

This will be a very good series, assuming that these four make it to the semi-finals. I could see any of these top-4 teams making it to St. Paul.

And George, who would pull your leg? ;-)

That's why I didn't commit to anything. Had a feeling North Branch wasn't anything but the 10 seed.

I almost had them right but i can see why Cathedral is the top seed and like many people including myself have said, i can see any of the top four teams making it to the X. one thing that jumps out at me is Pine City at the 6 spot. The coaches must have done a really good job at selling their team at the meeting considering they lost to North Branch earlier in the year. Also George, when is Schmidt supposed to be back? I would hate for Cathedral to be without a key player come section time.

Call me Bill Belichick when it comes to dishing out that info.

I sprinted out of Sauk Rapids immediately after the Cathedral loss last Saturday, but that was more of a traffic thing.

George and Bill... hmmmm... Can I see some similarities? hmmmm..

Actually, George is more outgoing and willing to share his knowledge than Bill.. But George wouldn't be having a video crew tape the opposing coaches to catch signals, although he might look at the parent's videos of their own benches...

You about nailed that one right on the head, nice call. Assuming the top 4 will coast into the semis it's going to make for some great matchups. Both games featuring two good teams and maybe a bit of a revenge factor will be involved. I say this because SR and Denfeld would matchup and SR handled Denfeld in the regular season which I'm sure the Hunters haven't forgotten. Then you have SCC and Hermantown. A game still fresh in the mind of both teams that ended in a 4-2 W for SCC on Tuesday night. It's going to be a helluva double header in Cloquet next Thursday, I look forward to being there.
