Thats a good bet since those are the 2 that have started games thus far... I dont know if O'shea got a new mask but I know Krob used to wear one... Anybody know for sure who it was?

who is the really short one? He came in for the end of the 2nd and the third and let 2 goals in.
If krob used to wear one, then it was definately o'shea that gave up 5

The really short was in most likely Krob and I believe he is the better of the 2. If they started O'shea then Bville got a leg up on them because he is not the better of the 2. Good for Bville and hopefully they can continue to play as well as the score sounds.

Both goalies played for EV tonight. Krob started and gave up 4, Oshea came in and gave up 3. Bad night for both...several soft goals given up.
Barnes and Henderickson each got a couple of second assists.

Thats too bad for both tenders. I never like watching goalies get tore up on softies. I am sure Krob will bounce back just fine nad hopefully EV can help out on the scoreboard as well... Who scored for them?

this should have been a much closer game
Eastview dominated the first period and had either of their goalies showed up this game could have gone the other way
Burnsville still has a ton of potential for improvement...but they are thin at D right now and their forecheck is really inconsistent. Their also running a pretty short bench so they will have to get healthy and consistent with what they have because with the exception of Mosey (soph- who's developing into a solid vars. player)) they haven't brought any other JV up.
Eastview played a decent game even though the score doesn't show, they had more real scoring opportunities, shots on goal, and a more consistent forecheck..at least 4 of Burnsville's goals should have been stopped. If they can get goaltending then they will be a scary team late in the season

I am surprised at the score. I thought this game would have been closer.

its gonna be interesting how bville does saturday against chaska without ames, and possibly mcduff

They've actually played several players up from JV. Tonight they had a defensemen playing up (Witchow) along with Mosey (they both played some JV and V tonight) and in previous games they have had two other forwards play up (Kennedy/Smyth) who are linemates with Mosey on JV.
You're right though that they carry a short bench (only 14 players) so they have to stay healthy especially at D where they carry only 5.

i think they will do fine..i know that burnsville is short handed at defense along with forward..but i wouldnt be worried if i were a burnsville fan because perisic looked pretty good at defense and branson is amazing.. as for forward they moved the puck and played as a team. You know that the forwards came to play and players steped u when ure team gets 7 goals and barnes and hendrickson account for 0 of them

Branson did have a great game..his best this season and he was out there even more than normal with McDuff out
Perisic did a good job as well
as far as the seven goals, it's great to see scoring from so many other players (besides hendo and barnes) even though over hald those goals were freebies from the EV goalies...a goals a goal though!
Sturlaugson had another solid game as well for the win

Sounds like the team had some luck the other day against some pretty weak goaltending but the big concern for Burnsville has to be the lack of goals out of their 2 top forwards. To date they have a combined total of 9 goals in 8 games (7 Barns & 2 Hendrickson). This years Lake leader JT Brown has 15 goals in 9 games. New line combinations has probably been a factor (a jv player filling in for injured player) but you still have two of the premier forwards playing together and getting chances on numerous PP's without much success. When it comes crunch time they need to find a way to get these two to put the puck in the net or they won't get by the tough opponents.

I wouldn't worry about Hendo & Barnes scoring. I believe Barnes had 1 goal & 7 assist thru 12 games last season. He finished with about 54 points. When these 2 get hot B'ville will being scoring 5 or more a night no matter who they play.

5-1 for Burnsville seems a little far fetched especially considering that Eastview is coming off a 9 goal game vs LN. Eastview is a very good team and would be alot better if they had better goaltending. I mean they would be an elite team in the state with good goaltending. There first line can match almost anyones talent wise and although Fienhage has had a very down year points wise he is still a very good defensemen, along with Gorski and Peters.
But at the same time Burnsville is getting very hot again at the right time and theyve won 10 of 11.
Bottom line is its going to be a very close game and with the game EVs first line had last week I see them scoring alot and I also see Burnsville scoring alot.

Agreed, It's too bad a team with that much talent lacks in goaltending. This years team is one of the most talented in the 10 or so years of EV's history.

Also agree, I would say if you looked at the skaters this is their best team in the school's short history. Should be a good one can't wait to go watch this one.
*WARNING TO PEOPLE ATTENDING THIS GAME*
Apple Valley High School where the game is being played is having a caucus that will be starting at the school at 7 o'clock so that will take up parking space. Not sure I heard they are expecting alot so the parking lot may fill all the way up tomorrow night, because there is also a Basketball game in the gym.

Eagle do you realize the last 2 times these teams have meet it was 7-0 & 7-2. So 5 to 1 B'ville isn't to far fetched. I would agree with you that there 1st line is as good as anybodys, but from what I saw the last 2 times there defense and goaltending are very suspect.
