So moving to the slums of Burnsville is better Huh? a $200,000 dollar house is a $200,000 dollar house, just cause your neighbors have money doesn't mean you do.

Nice shot at Cottage Grove. Make you feel like a big man?
Good luck to Burnsville the rest of the way. Having an advocate like you will put a bigger target on their back

What's goin on with B'ville.....I'm sure a 4-3 start isn't exactly what they wanted and the only quality win i see is there win opening night @ Jefferson which i heard they barely beat in OT being out shot like 2:1 in the third....rough schedule or are they a little overrated so far???

I am hearing they are playing the heck out of Barnes and Hendrickson. I would imagine teams are focusing on them.

lol.... so what you are saying is that one line of fowards might not be enough to win the big games??? who could have thought of that....Has burnsville tried to mix up the lines so they spread out those guys? I mean come time in like febuary and march they could be dead tired

That's exactly what I am saying.
I am not sure they have the D strength they had last year.

If they don't find a combination of forwards, besides Barnes and Hendo, that can put up some points up, they will not go far,D is an issue, may have lost Mcduff for awhile last night

I was at the game and came away very impressed with EP defense. Burnsville was probably the better team overall, outshot them and carried the play abit more. Burnsville has major issues at D (only 1 good healthy one), also there top line is no where to be found in d zone coverage, both wings way to high looking for the breakaway, I have been at a few of the B'ville games now and have seen there top line give up most of the goals. That is a major issue because they are getting the majority of the ice time. If coaching staff can't find the right mix at defense,( got to be some jv'ers that are as good as what they are useing) Change up the lines, to many senior forwards with talent watching the first line, it could get to be a very long season.

Burnsville is fine. It is early in the season and the time to peak is during playoffs. I have watched several games and the coaches have mixed up the lines and tried several combinations and they have had good success at spreading the scoring. The only line that has remained consistent is the powerplay line otherwise they have tried splitting the Barnes, Hendrickson Perisic line and tried several different combinations. That's what teams do early in the season. The other lines are getting more ice time then last year and have had scoring chances which is why you see a larger number of players being involved in the scoring. They just went back to Barnes Hendrickson Perisic line last game and they came up a little short but the sky is not falling because of it. Once again they got scoring from another line and Hendrickson Barnes Perisic line got one and several had numerous chances. They are also giving all three goalies a chance to earn the spot. This is the time to experiment and learn what you have.
As far as the D is concerned they are not really deep at that position at Varsity or JV level but they have several good players. Injuries have hurt them some but it's a long season and given time and good health they will improve.
