Agree, good scorer, nice hands. Seems to me she was one of, if not the, leading team scorer last year as a freshman on a team that went to state.

Also a member of the U16Icecats during the spring/summer months.

Callie Dahl (Junior) and Kristi King (Sophmore) from stillwater also are great players.

Jordan Klimek (Sophmore) and Courtney Boucher (Freshman) from hastings look promising

Also Hannah Brant from Hill Muarry, not sure of the grade but she is an amazing player

3 of the very best underclassman that seem to have made huge impacts to their teams:

Ramsey- Minnetonka: http://www.maxpreps.com/FanPages/Player ... /Minnesota

Hanmer- Forest Lake: http://www.maxpreps.com/FanPages/Player ... /Minnesota

Mcmillen- Breck: http://www.maxpreps.com/FanPages/Player ... /Minnesota

Mom?
What??? Who are you???
hocktang- sorry if you took offense to this, just having fun. Your posts sound like a proud parent that wants their kids name on the web. Nothing personal.

Keep an eye on Jordyn Burns, a 9th grader at BSM. She was just switched to forward two games ago, and since then has picked up two goals and two assists. Good size and hands, creative playmaking, and knows how to put the puck in the net. Pretty easy prediction that she will be closely watched and highly recruited in the next couple of years.

Of the 92's I've seen, she's the one that impressed me the most. She just controls the play. Deceptively fast, good hands, hard shot and a very heady player.

After seeing Forest Lake play, I'm going to have to add D Audrey Hanmer to those already mentioned. Skilled with a lot of poise. Couldn't believe she's just a 9th grader when I looked at the roster.

What about Sami Reber? She's a freshman for Edina who is leading the team in goals. She's Matt Reber's (Mr. Hockey Finalist) sister and she certaintly has his skill.

Sami Reber is one heck of a great player...!

Also - Keep a lookout for Katy Kvasnicka from Mankato West. She is a 9th grader and I think she is leading the state so far with 41 points

Hasn't anyone noticed that there is an underclassperson trading the goal scoring leadership day to day? Taylor Kuehl of Mound-Westonka is a freshman (in her third year playing varsity). Her dad was the AD for several years and is now the Head Coach.

I have. She is awesome! We should probably start a new 9th graders forum - alot of good ones out there.

According to Boblee, Rapids has 7 D-1 players, with numbers like that, wouldn't a state title be a lock? Even EP only has 4 or 5...whats in the water up there? Can you bottle some and send it down to the cities?

I don't think he said Rapids has 7 D1 seniors this year. He said 7 potential D1 players on the team. They only have 5 seniors on the team. Hard to believe Stillwater and Roseville don't have any seniors who have signed D1 or least no one has listed them as having any. They both are loaded with young talent.

you had mentioned Amanda Colin as a good player from Burnsville back in December. This is my first time on this site. She is my daughter and I wanted to say thanks! I think she's okay too. ;) Rachel Ramsey is good too! They play in the summer together for the Icecats.

Amanda Colin is my daughter and though I DO try to be humble, she is someone to watch, I believe. She has good hands and knows the game. She is a sophomore and plays for Burnsville.

It is hard to believe that Stillwater and Roseville have no D-1 recruits!! :?

A little birdy informed me that a couple WCHA programs are chasing a certain Pony in earnest...FWIW.

*Also FWIW, there's some thought that D-I opportunities for another player could possibly be diminished via the absence of her linemate...being as they had a nice / effective chemistry.

*Just what I'd call scuttlebutt...may or may not end up being reality.

I would bet Bethany Brausen, Allie Duellman and Kayla Capistrant will get some attention from DI schools starting next year.

also Babineau from Roseville is a super player. Not as flashy as some but hard nosed, goes in the corners, gets dirty, hard to the net, worker AND a super kid.

Babineau is a senior though, not underclass. Roseville has an amazing sophomore class. Brausen, Capistrant, Duellman, Witwicke, and Logan.

This is correct. I said GRG has 7 POTENTIAL D1 players. Only one of the seven is a senior, and she is committed to BSU.
