They don't even need that many - White Bear Lake does fine as one of the largest youth hockey programs in Minnesota with only two indoor ice rinks.
surprisingly yeah they do. there are 2 indoor rinks right now and quite a few teams have to practice outdoors because there is not ice time, so i guess maybe not 3 new ones, but probly 2 minimum

They are also building a new high school just to the east of Bielenberg. Also a large number of the Wild players live in Woodbury. So it is likely that some sort of expansion will take place, and it will be the Wild's practice facility.
