Hey Empire geek, you know you're going to get annihilated this week, right? Reduced to utter ruin. Nonexistence.

So far. If you see on the hockey board I actually do predict you to win, just because it'd be my ultimate humiliation, but I will try my best to win. I hate your Ovachickn and Nash.

Well well well... Govs vs. Elks for the title this week.

Public vs. public... Hockey the way it's supposed to be!

Bite that McTabish!

I knew it would happen. I predicted it before I even knew my opponent would actually be Empire. Just like in my other league. I have a paying league with my friends, and week 21 of the regular season Radim Vrbata didn't get credit for an assist he got on Sunday night, yahoo made a typo. Which in turn cost me the assist category. Not too big of a deal, only cost me a single point in the standings, but I just had a hunch it'd come back to haunt me.

Sure enough our season ended with me finishing the second seed instead of the first...by one point. In the semi's, I lost to my opponent this week on a tie. Go figure, right? If I were in the top bracket like I should have been, I would have demolished the 4th seed and I'd be in the championship right now. What a crock. McTabish not a happy man.

How come bobbers doesn't post anything about fantasy hockey anymore? Is it because he isn't in 1st any longer?

Yeah, he's all over it when he makes the semis, but Govs has to fill in for him when it comes to announcing the championship game.

Oh, did anyone notice I took 5th? Would've made the championship if it hadn't been for that pesky Empire....

4) Govs plays 6) Empire's Troopers in the title.

1) boblee plays 2) verb1999 in the third place game.

Injuries and poor goaltending finally caught up with me. Good luck to Govs and ERE, should be a great final.

I tried to gain the upperhand by utilziting a real snake-in-the-grass manuever, but I was too far down for it to really work anyway. Since the only stat that was really up in the air going into the final day was shots on goal, I dumped my entire roster (most of whom had the day off yesterday) for a bunch of shooters (who were all playing). I still fell short.

Well done, ERE. Even though I fell just short, I'm still happy with the fact that Mr. McTabish screwed the pooch yet again!

Amen to that Govs.

#6 seed to the Championship, sub .500 team winning it all... I think that says something.

Yes: It Can Happen

Thanks to all who tried to stop me and better luck next year.

Congrats Empire, I would've beat you if it hadn't been for those meddling goaltenders. And if my guys had scored a few more goals. And picked up some more assists. And had a better plus/minus.
