I am happy some girl I brought to the fantasy football draft picked Randy Moss for my team, I probably wouldn't have drafted him. As early as I got him anyways...

Daunte Culpepper or Moss.
did that coaching/managment staff make the rong choice!

Moss is doing well in NE like many thought he would.
But its a great fit. Nobody is going to swagger onto NE like he is king ship.
He did well here when he had Carter and Green to keep him in line. When he became 'the man', not so good.
If he would have come back here, it would not have worked out.
So, I wouldnt be too hard on Ditka because he and other coaches would be right not to go anywhere near Moss.

If Ditka has a Brady, Farve, or Brees, or even a Rothlisberger under center with a little beef to block and a decent RB to balance things out, the only thing between Ditka and success is Ditka.

Isnt Ditka the one that traded all his draft choices for Ricky Williams?
Wonder why he is a little gun shy?

Yes, Ditka mortgaged everything for Williams. But where he failed then and would fail again is in his stubborness to acquire a key component for a 4th round choice only because he had a personal problem with him.

I agree with that IS and Green ,to his credit, drafted Moss with that in mind.
But after all the water that has gone over the dam with Moss, anyone would ahve to hesitate unless the situation was right.
Moss is like a little kid. If he is in an unstructured situation , he will fail.
Tice was..............well, Tice. Moss ran the show. Failure.
Grenn and the '98 Vikings /Bellicheck and '07 NE =big time structure=success.

Ricky Williams... interesting topic...
Could he end up in Tampa Bay with John Gruden?

Gruden better hope so... they're trying to land Mewlede Moore. Good back, but I'm not sure i'd put him in the "savior" category.

He also tried to talk Corey Dillon out of retirement.

Looks like a brilliant pick up for the Pats. I don't think anyone would have bet on him leading the league in TDs. Except maybe a few of us patriot fans that knew what Tom Brady could really do with a good reciever. Now he knows how Peyton Manning feels.

If your going to jump on a bandwagon, its not a bad choice!

Sorry, I can't be a bandwagon jumper. I cheered for the Pats back when Bledsoe was still the QB. Just find it too hard to cheer for Minnesota teams when they don't want to spend any money to keep or add players.

The Patriots have a real shot at breaking the season scoring record of 556 points which is currently held by non other than our Vikings.
When the year is over we probably will be able to say that Moss is the only common demominator of the two highest scoring teams in NFL history.
Is this just a coincidence or is he the reason?

Moss is a great weapon, but when you combine Brady with a great offensive line, a powerful and elusive RB, solid tight end, and other quality receivers so you can't roll all your coverage to Moss, you've created the perfect storm. Its fun to watch.

Don't feel special Schwang, I've got missing vessels and charred timbers decomposing in back yards from Alexandria to Warroad and from East Side to Bemidji. You'll just have to get in line with all the other unanswered messages.
