Can you say "given a free pass?".

They don't belong here - given a free pass.

A stunning contribution to the discussion of the game. Take it elsewhere.

No, Connolly and Guzzo and Gutsch have been their top scorers.

Off topic but you would likely know...

Why don't the northern schools utilize MaxPreps webpage? That site is a great compilation of stats and scores.

So far, not a lot of heavy checking and banging. Been clean. Where’s the hatred between these two teams who see each other so frequently?

Anyone willing to give some updates today?
Would be greatly appreciated.
In and out at the computer, nice to read what others are seeing.
Thanks in advance.
Whobdat already working on it, thanks!

Wow Nice rush for Herm. That should add some spark to this game.

Hermy just got a PPG. 2-1 Hermantown.

IMO it was a bad call on the penalty.

DM has been putting on the pressure but the Herm goalie is playing well.

2&10

If you saw yesterday's game between DM and STA - this looks similar.

DM's offense playing better than the opposition but just like STA's goalie, Herm's goalie is keeping them out.

Who is to say that DM isn't a team?

From www.dictionary.com...a team is...

1. a number of persons forming one of the sides in a game or contest: a football team.
2. a number of persons associated in some joint action: a team of advisers.

Didn't catch that they had to grow up together in that definition...sure, DM may use rent-a-players...but they want that championship just as much as Hermantown. The transfers didn't just go to play hockey...they went to win a state championship.
you mention all of those, they are a private school, none of them had the home rink of duluth marshall, they dont have a youth program. dano is from DE all those guys you mentioned, central would be much better with jessie, along with bobby, jack would be going to east, dodd, your arguement was pretty worthless, but either way... GO HAWKS!
Enough said!

Thanks, wbd - did see some of it, so I get what you mean.
Figured this would be a tight matchup, they seem similar to me.
Saw several of these guys as Sqts/Pws/Bants thru the years, it's great to see them all grow into such great players.
Appreciate the updates. Keep 'em comin'.
Not as hardcore for Marshall as SS, like both these teams and how they play.

Anyone else thinking that they are calling this game closer than the other games this week? Since 2 of Herm's goals are off the PP, the stage may be being set for some controversy.

The slashing call on DM was weak at best. Sure it was a cup check, but with the guy on his knees and the puck between his legs, it's fair game in my book.
