I know, I know, it was just a big day in Moorhead for us today with a son in net for each game! I thought I'd just slip it in. I promise not to do it again!

Goalie dads have the right to "slip one in" unless some else is helping pay for the pads. Congratulations on a big day. How do you think the EGF team will do in the Hermantown Tourney in a couple weeks? They have a tough draw with Anoka and Lakeville South.

I gave up my prognosticating after the Moorhead Tournament picks, you can look that up and see how I did.
The boys have been playing well since the Moorhead Tournament, 6-1 with that loss coming to Roseau the next weekend on their ice and we get our district rematch with them this coming weekend on our ice as well as hosting TRF on Monday. The team seems to have turned a corner, and hopefully great games against Crookston and Moorhead will help with that progress. Of course all those other teams have had this same amount of time to get better too. I am very much looking forward to see how we match up against Anoka, watched them against Andover in Moorhead, would have been a good matchup then. Not too pleased about the start time of the game on the 11th, 9:45 PM, but both teams have the same situation so we'll have to see on that too. Lakeville South seems to have really taken off so if we are fortunate enough to play them, another huge test, and then there is Hermantown in the other bracket, would like to see them again, lost in an OT shoot out to them at our tournament here in November. These next two week we will see if we are contenders or pretenders and I'm feeling pretty optimistic.
I won't see it though, Mrs. Air Force 1 will be taking my son out there for this one, I will be at home with my squirt, his team is hosting 3 games that weekend and UND is hosting Mich Tech, gotta make use of at least some of our tickets. (Watchdog, I feel your pain)
