Redwood Beat Marshall in summer hockey and twice now during the season and still no respect. Redwood was short 5-3 for over 6 minutes and Marshall couldn't find the net. 5on5 Marshall could not get passed center ice. Did the Marshall paper see the same game that was being played or did they just get opinions from the fans the next day?

First of all summer hockey is a joke. Redwood gets no respect because of the way they play, CHEAP. If they dominated so much 5-5 why were the shots about even and the score 3-2?

You should worry about winning your own conference instead of looking to Districts, Might have won a few more. Sorry about breaking the banners you had going. 6 straight is impressive, Next time bring your A game.

Marshall Loses to New Ulm 7-2........they had 1 empty netter and shots were 24-30 favoring new ulm......i was at the game and the game was much closer than the score

Marshall Just did not show up the first period letting 4 in, in the first period

hey golfer5 who have you all played bragging redwood up so much i dont see you playing a new ulm, hutch, or willmar....so when sections come around, your in for a rude awakining...

I have total respect for all the teams coaches and fans from D-3
My beef was with sregit34. And how Marshall who had lost too Redwood twice this last year was going to Beat them and Burn down their houses and steel their women. Hutch, New Ulm and Willmar are all good teams. Wish we could play them more.
Marshall is a Good team with great Kids as well.
Sregit34 keep your mouth shut about what your gonna do and just do it.
No I do not play for Redwood Just a fan.

And to your question. Why was the shots on goal even. Yes its shots on goal not shot near goal. Did you go to the game? Your right stats were close.
You also win the Stat for Checking from behind.

The last time Marshall lost a conference title Redwood Area did not even have a High School team, They do now-
Your on a 3 game loosing steak and a loosing record right now focus on that.
Bring your A game to Section 3A playoffs and good luck.

Heard it was the check in the first 15 seconds of the game I remember that. Kid came off and went to the bench. That is one tough Kid.

New Ulm plays Sartell today that game could mean alot in how teams are seeded in the sec. Hutch plays Marshall another sec game that could play a role in seedings. Lets see what these games bring.

This section is a joke. None of these teams deserve to go to state...the team that will probably get the first seed lost to minnehaha academy. thats terrible

New Ulm beat Sartell 3 - 1. ClassicHockey I think that Sartell is ranked 16th in the state. I bet Sartell doesn't think that all teams in this sec are as bad as you think they are. Maybe your the joke

any updates on the Hutch Marshall game?

Marshall lost to Hutch 9-2........the shots were 22-42 favoring hutch......the first 14 min of the first period there was no score but then hutch got a goal that should of have not counted...the player batted the puck in with his hand..then marshall broke down and let up 3 goals in the last 3 min....then in the second period marshall came out flying out shooting hutch 13-12 and scoring 2 goals in the second......after the second hutch was leading 6-2....then the third period hutch scored 3 more goals making the final score 9-2...

Hutch over Marshall 9-2...alot closer than score indicated---4-2 at one point agree with Bdangles14

First of all, New Ulm was a totally different team then. They would kill Minehaha now. Second, you are just some kid on a team in another section that has realized he's not good enough to take his team to state, so you go blame your bad play on other teams that have a shot. Get over it. PLus New Ulm just beat #16 Sartell 3-1. This section is stronger than you think (definitely not very deep in talent). But the top couple teams in this sec can flat out play. NU just proved that.

I agree...as of now i think New Ulm is number one i the sec.

How can u say that? They lost by 7! even if they got one or two lucky bounces they still win by 5?!? Plus hutchs first or second line didnt touch the ice after 5 min into the third. They also got out shot 42-22
