95% of the shots Casanova has faced from Warroad and LF have been right at him. I don't think he played that special. His defense also stopped a lot of shots from going on net in the Warroad and LF and I will give them props for that but Casa seems sort of lucky.

The REALITY of Albert Lea goalie Casanova is, he has a save % average of 95 because of the weaker schedule they play, he only played half of the regular season games because he rotated with the other goalie all year long. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

The second one should have been called off.

Right after the faceoff, a warroad player stuck his stick between an AL defender's legs and twisted it to force him down to the ice (that's tripping, duh).

It was so clearly shown in the replay, that Nannie even said "oops, they got away with one there (laugh) (laugh)".

Didn't anybody see that?

He played a super game last night (with the second goal questionable, I feel)....and he cannot be faulted for the empty net goal.

Warroad was scared alot by AL last night.

AL's checking was textbook.

What else do you need?

I am sorry yhat you hate AL so much... :(

TWINNESOTA. You said that Albert Lea scared Warroad? The game tapes I watched showed Warroad had pretty much FULL CONTROL of this game. You also said that there checking was textbook? I think they played the goon style of hockey again and not the puck. You can't put the puck in the net when your laying on your back looking up at the bright lights. Play the puck and only play the body when needed.

You have a tape?
So watch it for the second warroad goal and you will see the trip...
So much for your goon hockey theory.
Warroad scored when the AL guy was tripped and looking up at the bright lights.
Check your tape...

piss and moan about missed calls all you want...they are a fact of life...it boils down to this. If they make that call (put yourself in that situation) would you whine just a much if they did make that call with that much time left...no??? I've seen enough crap on this site about TRF fans ticked off that their goalie was called on a tripping penalty with what? less than 2 mins left give or take...maybe even less. I forget. But they were more upset that they called it in a big game like that (Sect 8 champ). Well, the refs swallowed their whistles in this game. Think your team would feel better if they skated in on an obvious offsides - no call and scored to win the game? Hell no! Yeah they would still cheer, dog pile and move on...but do you think that each team member who noticed it will consciously know that they shouldn't have won the game on that play. Bottom line is that your team went out and shot what??? about half as many times as Warroad and you THINK A.L. should have still won? [-(

I am not complaining about the call, just stating what I saw...
I enjoyed the game.
Neither team was that much better than the other.
That was my point.
That's all...
