They beat Hermantown handely.
they lost to east 3-1, lost to Jefferson 2-1 and lost ot osseo 8-6 with an empty netter they crushed hermantown 5-0 and if you have heard anything about them lately they have been crushing opponents how you dont have them in top 20 is beyond me because they are playing amazing hockey and just wont lose they deserve to be reanked

Cuz that would be moronic. Andover should be top 8, Grand Rapids top 17 at the least...Hermantown is not a top 20 team.

eagan has a solid team
maybe a bit overrated not to much
they can be a top 10 team if they show up to play

k well just b/c you beat a team doesnt mean you should be ranked higher. you would think you would understand that by now. and plus andover being in the top 5 may be the biggest joke ive ever seen! centennial got 2nd in the edina tourney by the way

how can you not have rapids in top 20???? possibly 15??? i have had a chance to watch only a few of their games this season but even form that they look better than some of the teams you have mentioned in this. Like Andover. they lost to hermantown and rapids beat hermantown 5-0 earlier this season. i believe that rapids should easily be ranked top 20.

Bemidji should be top 20 if Moorhead is top 10.

Moorhead is definitely NOT a top 10 team.

No major tourneys this last weekend, but some good matchups. Lets take a look at what we got.

1. EP – No reason to move the Best Team Around
2. Duluth East – Solid @ #2 till someone can hall them down
3. Centennial – 20 -0 over Coon Rapids, call off the dogs (sign of them playing better?)
4. Jefferson – Close one with Apple Valley
5. Andover – 4-0 over Osseo
6. Mounds view – Nice Victory over Tartan
7. Wayzata – Walking away with District 3
8. Brainerd – Lost to Moorhead but takes care of the Alex and Fargo Tops in D15
9. Tartan – Just lost to Moundsview, a shake up in district 2
10. Elk River – Big games with Blaine Tuesday, Centennial Wednesday
11. Edina – Handles Chaska Easily
12. Rochester North – #1 in District 8
13. Osseo – 2nd in District 3 / lost to Andover
14. Lakeville South – #2 in District 8
15. Woodbury – #3 in District 8
16. Eagan – #4 in District 8
17. Chaska – Lost to Burnsville and Edina
18. Hermantown – Beat Grand Rapids and St. Cloud
19. Blaine – barley got by Rogers, and Anoka
20. White Bear Lake – has a hard time with Mahtomedi

hermantown is #1 in district 11 [ahead of duluth east]

Is that due to number of games played or the fairpoint problem?

Jefferson is right where they should be. And, DaBears, havent they beaten you before?

Posted: Mon Jan 08, 2007 4:12 pm
by DAbears25
actually in our last game it was 1-1 and very close and ya they beat us 2-1 in our first game of the season at the centennial preview tourney. u would be mental to say that even means anything now

Hey Chuck,
What is with the strong District 8? Because #1 in D8, #2 in D8, #3 in D8 and you have Eagan (who is in 5th)because #4.
The bottom 11 to 12 team in that district are not doing well. Like zero win in 11 games or 1, 2, or 3 wins in 9 games. OUCH!

Should teams be looked at on your grid because they are setting the pace in there District?

No, I'm not mental I was just asking. I wasnt sure when that happened so settle down bud.

But, nevertheless they did beat you, so a win is a win. And from this forum it says Jefferson has tied EP and DE, and they have beaten Wayzata, Centennial, Andover, Eagan, Blaine, Woodbury, Elk River, and you guys. That counts to be 8 top 20 wins and two ties against the top 2 teams in the state.

So, maybe they are one or two spots two high, just MAYBE.

But if you think they shouldnt be so highly ranked, give me your reasons?

umm actually i wasnt gettin mad at u in anyway. i was sayin that if u thought the win from the first game of the season meant anything u were mental...i wasnt sayin u actually were. i know ur not the one doin the rankings like chuck but u just said a win is a win and well in the rankings us and blaine and maybe someone else moved down becuz we played "close" with a bad team but still beat em.....or "barely" beat a bad team....but a win is a win right? also eagan and elk river are nothing special and im pretty sure some of their big wins came early in the season and i know for a fact teams have changed A TON since november and even december. not that i care were ranked low on chucks rankings but we have beaten wayzata also and centennial and blaine and woodbury and MV who is 6th according to chucks rankings on here
