alex won this won 7-2. Was not really close at all. shots were 2-1 in favor of alex and really could have been more than 7. thats 7 wins in a row for the cards now

i hate to break it to everyone but i think apollo should be out of consideration for the section championship, they have shown nothing to me to prove they are a contender, i'de like to say its down to alex,LF, and FF, but with the way alex has been playing, and having a really good goalie i don't even see fergus getting past alex, i think section finals is coming down to alex versus LF for the 2nd time in 3 years, but this time they don't have festler..... :D

But they still have the Hanowski's who sniped hemmingway for 5 goals in their first meeting. Hemmingway is a good positional goaltender but his small stature leaves the top of the net wide open. The LF snipers will have no problem scoring goals on him also they have played against and with him so they know his weaknesses. Unless he magically grew a few inches since their first meeting.

This will be a great matchup on 2/7/08. And will be a great time to see what holds future for sections coming soon. I like 2 out of the last 5 games for LF, all but one are away games, this will show if LF can skate @ other rinks just as well as they do @ home. Go Flyers. I hope they rack up some major points Thursday, like they did with their first meeting against the River Lake Stars!

I agree, Alex is playing very well and the alex little falls mathcup will be a good one. Yes little falls has the edge but i think that gap is closing and it should shape up for a good game on the 7th and possible in the section finals.

Good to hear from you again Brucey. I agree should be a good game on the 7th and I can't wait to watch it. But I don't think the gap between Alex and LF is closing as fast as some people think after all LF will be bringing in a 11 game winning streak when they meet assuming they walk over RL and W/DC like they should :!:

Right now I think Little Falls is flying a bit out of whack. They played actually quite excellent when Ben was out. With him back, it seems they are a little off. Hopefully they can get the machine well oiled again before the FF and Alex matchups.

Don't worry mite-dad, they should have some running time games coming up with RL tomorrow and W/DC on the 5th, but then again W/DC could play them tough for a change.

I hope they do play them tough. Maybe we'll be able to stop hearing about how amazing Little Falls is in every thread.

O that does not happen according to ap4mvp other post here; Posted: Fri Jan 25, 2008 5:04 pm.
First learn how to quote, second where is Peck playing his hockey next year Ben committed to SCSU right after his sophomore year With the scoring issue he missed the first couple of games with mono plus the last three games with a groin injury if he didn't have those injuries you would be locking at the state's leading scorer. When LF is crushing their opponents like they usually do the first line doesn’t play much in the third period, maybe a shift of two. Hanowski is a true team leader he makes the guys around him better unlike Peck. So don't tell me Peck is on the same level as Ben Hanowski
