I'm guessing Antonavich, Peluso, Guentzel, Pat Guyer, and Gernander. :)

1st:
V - McGillivray (Sacchetti) 12:22

2nd:
G - Guyer (Westlake) 1:23 SH
G - Westlake (Ohrn) 8:05
G - Estey (Westlake, Guyer) 12:56 PP
G - Foster (Ohrn) 16:10

3rd:
G - Strom (Unassisted) 1:12 PP
V - Kishel (Sacchetti) PP
V - Kishel (Sacchetti)
V - McGillivray (Sacchetti) 10:27

Shots: Virginia 16-8-12=36, Greenway 5-16-8=29

Virginia took a 1-0 lead and then took a nap until Greenway took a 5-1 lead early in the third. Virginia looked like a handful of zombies for most of this one. Greenway was faster and definitely put forth more effort. They deserved this one. Virginia will have to learn that you can't win a game by playing hard for just 13 minutes.

Virginia will not go anywhere with goaltending performances like they have been getting. A couple more softies found the back of the net... while across the line, anyway.

goaltending for virginia is VERY weak......rest of the team is solid for the most part but was a very PLEASE BAN ME game. nico did good getting another 4 points. his point totals have to be up there a ways now.....

He did get the assists tonight, but I would say that was one of his poorer games. 2 of his assists were face off wins that McGillivray buried with nice shots, the other two were passes from the corner that Kishel blasted in from the point. I only recall him getting one shot on goal in the game. He had the puck taken from him quite a bit in front of the net, perhaps trying to make one too many moves instead of shooting the puck.

I thought Kishel was Virginia's best player on the ice tonight, although he wasn't always out there because he was called for four or five penalties. Westlake and Guyer stood out big-time for Greenway. Underwood played well and made some big saves to keep Greenway in the game as they whethered the storm for a few minutes in the first period.

I am completely stunned. Lose to Wadena and then beat Virginia. Greenway does have a history of playing well against Virginia, but this is hard to imagine. I hope this gives them the confidence they need to finish the season strong.

Puckstop has the correct scoring. Congrats to Greeway, big win. Playoffs will be very interesting. Virginia needs to make a goalie change. I see 2 other goalies on the bench. Why not give them a few games before playoffs while there are a few games left. It couldn't be any worse. They either win or lose and the guy in there now is not winning important games. He makes some big saves but always 1 - 3 really weak ones go in. Not all goalies fault, I think a couple of their top 4 D got benched for the 3rd period. They seemed to be playing 3 D in the 3rd including # 28 who I have not seen play before.

Yes, you are correct. When I scribbled them down at the game, apparently I made my 4's look a lot like 9's. (Grivette is 4 and Sacchetti is 9.) I didn't look at it that close when I posted it earlier.

How did this happen after such a great game against Virginia? The Greenway/Rapids game was the most embarassing thing I have ever seen from a Greenway team. No heart what so ever. Looked like they gave up during warmups, with an exception for a few players. The raiders tried to keep up with Rapids' speed but most of the Greenway team isn't fast enough. Some of the players looked flat out scared and withdrew from any contact at all. Sad to see from what was once such a great rivalry.
