Thank you for the information HB Miracle Gold.

You mentioned that you utilize the top instructors in the field to help maximize each program participant's potential. That sounds really great. Can you tell me how PJ Atherton of D-Core delivers the instruction and development to the players on the AAA team? Is it a situation where the players are given credits to use at FHIT or does PJ come and work with the teams?

The FHIT instructors come on the ice and work with the team, they also conduct some of the dryland sessions

About how much time do the FHIT instructors spend with the teams? What a great benefit.

Lamplighter is correct, these trainers join Miracle Gold both on and off ice. For those that seek additional training, FHIT credits can be purchased at a discount so our players can individualize their development path.

Skaters receive 4 hours of on-ice, 4 hours of off-ice with FHIT instruction.

Goalies receive 10 hours of on-ice, 3 hours of off-ice with MEGA instruction.

Additional dryland sessions are prescheduled through FHIT and lead by each teams coaching staff. This allows for each age group to target specific areas to improve. Speed, strength, shooting, stickhandling, and quigility are some of the target areas identified.

Drop-in access at FHIT runs from 4/1/12 until 11/1/12 for all MG participants.

HB- Does the Miracle Black team (which I belive is your open level :?: ) get all of the same perks and the same amount of ice time and training as the Gold players do?

HB- So is the Miracle Black team an open level team? I think my son who is a young '02 (end of November B-day) and will be a first year squirt this year may fit better at the open level. He's a pretty strong player and plays with some Gold kids on another team but I don't know that I would classify him as an invite level player.

Will MB be holding tryouts for the '02s around the same time?

In response to the inquiry about the MG3's trying out for the Brick. There has been dialogue between MG and 4 different "Brick" charters. 2003 Miracle Gold team members will have every opportunity to skate in the Super Novice Hockey Tournament in Edmonton next summer.

Meaning what? For Minnesota kids I guess that means that they tryout for the Brick chartered team in Minnesota, unless that Minnesota team waives those kids out. Do you see that happening?

I heard a rumor that parents were screaming about playing time in the first period of the first game.

No longer a rumor! I saw Scott Steffen on the bench with the Miracle Gold 2003 team today...not sure if he was coaching or just evaluating but, either way it looks like he is joining the MG staff. This shakes up everything and is absolutely huge for the Miracle Gold Organization. This guy is a former college hockey head coach and has won almost every AAA championship w Blades teams he has coached. Lots of talk today at the Easton Cup.
Real question is how did Miracle gold get him? Rumors floating of a very nice contract.

Seeing this team in a couple of tournaments earlier in the year, I would have only been surprised if you stated they were NOT screaming about playing time (or refs or opponents or scorekeepers or zamboni drivers) at any point during the tournament!

I would have to agree, they have some real peaches in the stands for that team. One scruffy dad was yelling all the time about everything, and then left the game when it was apparent the Gold was going to loose. I would not tlike to be his kid on the ride home.

Ride home? Most likely not. Rides are for winners.

So are you implying that a bunch of gold kids will be moving to the blades and orange teams next year?
