There is no doubt that Eden Prarie is a top 3 team... Those guys can flat out play great hockey

Tonka was missing their big winger. He generates a lot of scoring chances. hopefully tonka and ep play again should be a barn burner.

Lakeville 5
Probibly the worst game lakeville has played since the Eagan game about a month and a half ago. Nothing went right for us and we were just flat
On SLP they are a good team that people can't classify as a "sleeper" team because the way they are playing and scores they are putting up they match up well against most teams

Wayzata-6
Stillwater-4
Stillwater gave up winning goal with 1:27 left in third and Wayzata knocked in an empty netter to seal it. Wayzata out shot Stillwater 35-15 but Stillwater lead twice during the game and grinded it out the whole game and made Wayzata earn this one.

Saw this game, this one really could have gone either way. Stillwater refused to go away, and pretty much had an answer for everything wayzata threw at them. I'm starting to become a believer stillwater could do some damage come regions.

Reg,
I agree. There are a lot of teams that people might not think of come regions. Stillwater, SLP and WBL come to mind. There seems to be a lot of parity this year, other than a couple at the bottom. Let the March Madness begin already!!

Starting to get to the end of the year, when they get to tournament time, its going to depend on what teams haven't lost kids to injuries or ones that peak too early in the year.
Seen a couple of games where a kid or two on either bench is wearing a helmet and not playing.

I hear ya - we were missing two players off our first line last night and I noticed there was one on crutches on the Wayzata bench - thats why it is a team sport and you cannot rely on jsut a few players.

Not a surprinsing result with stillwater most likely experiencing a post-tournament letdown.
Nice win jags. Keep up those types of results and you may finish in the top 9 in the metro league and keep your squad out of the play in game. However your schedule is brutal with Edina twice and EP and Lakeville once in your final six games...

Jefferson capitalized scoring on 3 out of 6 power plays and standout goaltending. Jag's outshot Ponies 39-27.
