Aren't the shots in the mid-high 30's? still better than 87%... yeah... 90% would be above avg... Hardy's stats are around 93% on the year.

So forget the Roseau, BSM etc. on Hibbing's schedule...Hermantown proved their ranking.

I felt hibbing outplayed H-town in the 3rd bad but give credit to them and Hardy for standing tall and battling for the Win and #1 seed in section 7a.
That King for hibbing threw some really nice hits in the 3rd also.

Yea Hermantown barely proved their ranking. They got lucky. Hibbing's goalie made a few bad mental errors and that cost his team the win. Hibbing outplayed them in the 1st and 3rd periods, so I think Hibbing should get a lot of credit for the way they played. Just wait for sections it will be another great contest between these two teams, hopefully.

Well... for those that stayed home and listened on the radio... mainly because it was about -20F an hr before game time... without the wind! We all missed a very good game and can't wait for Sectionals...

It was a great high school hockey game and a fun crowd. It certainly would be a worthwhile rematch in the section finals.
Loved the music between faceoffs, although much of what was being played was 20 to 30 years old.

amazing game to be at! both teams played great and hermantown really wore hibbing down in OT. marchuk had a few mental errors but he really played great and made some big saves to keep hibbing in it, hardy also played good, and to whoever that said 5 goals on hardy, please, well i guess its possible

but great game by both teams and congrats to hermantown but hopefully hibbing will beat em when it counts!

Shots were 40-41 in favor of Hermantown
Not sure how many penalties exactly but I believe the number of penalties were about even... some of the calls were a little weak....typical "Range Refs." Gotta expect that though....
I've seen a lot of games...dont know if I would consider this a great one.....got sloppy at times.....wasn't really any players that stepped up and shined for either team....Congrats to Hermantown for fighting until the end and pulling off a win....I thought Hibbing had them towards the end of regulations....but ya never know what will happen! Thats the game of hockey!!

I'm sick of people saying "hermantown was lucky to win the game", or "hermantown was lucky to tie it". NS, most of the time when its a close game between two teams it does take some luck/or a few puck bounces in your favor. A goalie might play unbelievable, or someone might get hurt. Cry about it

Good to hear for the most part hibbing fans aren't making as many excuses as Cloquet, East or marshall fans.....................Went to h-town....threw cake mix on the ice when h-town beat east 5-2 or 6-2 cant remember. Loved it though Lee...If East played hermantown they would lose by at least 2 goals. By the way warroad of a few years ago would have beat any AA school in the tourney.
