St. Thomas Academy better know what they're dealing with against the quick strike Little Falls team,
St. Cloud Cathedral and Blake should make a decent game,
Warroad is about the only team that is a sure bet to win against Litchfield, though it is the State Tournement so who knows..........
Second Round: championship bracket,
Mankato West v Warroad
Little Falls v St. Cloud Cathedral
Championship:
Little Falls v Warroad
I've went out on a limb so far so:
Champ: Little Falls
I admire your courage to "go out on a limb". Choosing the 1st
AND 2nd seeds to lose in the first is ridiculous.

AngusYoung, yes, I was in attendance during the game. I was in St Cloud that weekend and was hoping to get a much better game out of my $5. But I was sadly disappointed. Yes, they only won by two goals. But you would have to be very naive to say that the score the is only determiner of how the game went. This is true for baseball and football a lot.
Going off what was on here (since I wasn't in attendance) Kurt Altrichter had a really off game. He's allowed that every once in a while I'd say. STA's defense wasn't their typical self and Marshall had a great game. The combination of all that turns into a 8-2 win.
I was also in attendance in the 3 Schwan Cup beatings St Thomas put out in December. Yes, the 6-4 game they played BSM in was a beating. If you were there you'd know.
Look at AA. Edina got the #2 and BSM got the #3. If I recall correctly Edina lost to BSM 1-2 in December. Why aren't we raising a big fuss about them? Same reason why St Thomas got the #1.
