Right up there with the loss to Warroad in 89. Ram fans bawling and shedding enough tears to ice the roads from EGF to Roseau.

It would be collassal. It would be pretty amusing if this is the year for Moorhead.

Here goes: Theory goes, the harder schedule in the regular season will better prepare you for those tough, gritty, stressful playoff games. Playing a cupcake schedule will help you pile up the wins and points for your star players, but will leave you hanging out to dry come playoff/state tournament time (Think Park Rapids).

Did you really need that explained?
One factor that doesn't get mentioned when the discussion of Roseau's weak schedule is brought up, is the team's practice times. Roseau has a lot of talent and they have to practice against each other day after day. Roseau's forwards may not get better playing against teams like Farmington, but they do get better trying to beat Aaron Ness and Mike Lee everyday. Roseau's defense may not improve playing against teams like the River Lakes Stars, but they do get better trying to stop Landman, Nelson, Moser, Fabian and others day after day. A wise coach once said, "You will play like you practice." Roseau practices hard and with a high level of competitiveness week in and week out. This is why the whole weak schedule thing is a nonfactor.

It should be added the only players in the state with AA state championship experience still playing is, well, Roseau.

Excellent point. Something I have overlooked in the past. However, there is NO substitute for actual games.

Three hours and I will know if I should drink champagne or eat crow........

Roseau proving the adage you can't score if you don't shoot. 2:00 left in the 1st and I'm not sure if Moorhead's got a shot yet

Get off the schedule, that doesnt determine if you win or lose or how good or bad you are. If you got better players and better team play you win on that day.

The shots stats are wrong. Moorhead had a couple right away; however, Rams are outshooting them. 18-3...BUT 3 shots and one goes in might make Lee nervous!

from what i understood from Z and Cat.. it was on the 2nd rebound? If that's the case, Lee did his job, the defenseman apparently did not
