I think it is hands down Edina because they are 20-1 playing a very difficult schedule.

It may get decided on the ice, if one game decides anything, but I cant recall a team having a better season than Edina is having this year. If they finish 24-1, I dont care who wins the state tournamnet.

And exactly how could they finish the season 24-1? Edina just going to skip the section tournament? Must be that new math
He was referring to the regular season. He didn't care after that. Sorry you can't keep up! If you ask him nicely he might slow down for you though.

I'm glad you've been paying such close attention. In the past three days I've posted about four times that Edina and Roseau have just one common opponent. If you want to mention that game, I'd think you would at least get the score correct.

Edina beat Brainerd 6-1 in the game Budish missed.

yet to comment on the big one ??? Go back and read the thread with arguments for and against both Roseau and Edina.

how do you answer that one What's the question? Hard to answer a non-question.

Whoopdee frickin' doo if Roseau beats Grand Rapids. A lot of teams have defeated Grand Rapids this year.

Roseau is good. Very good. We'll see if they repeat. They could. To listen to you it is a lock.

I dont understand why people are so sensitive about Roseau's cushy, soft , cupcake schedule.

We have had the same discussion in the past about AHA's schedule due to the fact they are in the Missota when they were ranked #1 , even after they lost in sections.

No one got upset.

But now people like BIAFP get all in a tizzy when their Northern heros are called out for playing a soft schedule and they start to insult the other posters. I just dont understand it.

Green and White made the point that BSM was rated high and they dont play a very tough schedule either, even though they did beat the best team in Green, and nobody went for a gun.

Just an observation but it is curious that the Roseau fans get so upset about it. Its hard to understand how you can have a disussion about who the best team is and ignore the fact that one of them doesnt play anybody.

Maybe there are some issues that go deeper. Maybe there is some blocking going on or some acting out.

Maybe we should consult a physco the rapist.

Edina has the depth but Roseau might have a little bit of an edge over them, although they play a bit of an easier schedual then Edina's.

:?

IMO: the point is moot
I get sick & tired of hearing people talk about any northern teams' "soft" schedule, it is repeative every year by the same nay-sayers.
Every year Roseau's, Moorheads, Warroad's, Rapid's or East's schedules are called soft, and every year they do quite well at state, whomever the state representative from up north is.
Who was in last years championship game after playing a "soft schedule"?
 Roseau & Rapids
It happens time and time again...
The mental help may be needed by those who suggest the idea...

Anyway, again I state, that I can only hope for the "Green & White" matchup at state, and I don't mean the parochial east-siders

I've been around the "bored" block for a few years now and I don't ever recall Moorhead, Duluth East, or Grand Rapids schedule being called soft.

By anyone.

Ever.

Don't invent an argument.

That's fine Neutral
Roseau's & Warroads schedules are weak, they are what they are, year in, year out... Might be a 2008 AA & A sweep... 8)
You seem a little hostile in your "bored" responses, time after time, problems (?), hockey got you down :D

Sigh... Elliott explained it all to me last year, about northern hostility to city people. It no longer bothers me at all. :D

I agree, it is what it is. Roseau is uncapable of playing a schedule comparable to city teams. Only a pinhead couldn't see that.

AGAIN this year, the only green team I will root for is Roseau. But you guys are making it tougher!
