Haven't Moorhead and Grand Rapids heard? You can't win in orange.

Congrats to the Rams they earned this one.
I'd also like to say I am really impressed with the class, and respect each team showed the other after the game and during the awards ceremony.
Joe's compliment to the Rams while receiving the Herb Brooks Award was nothing short of absolute professionalism...he did the whole city of Grand Rapids proud with one short phrase...I'd be very proud of that if I were his parent, coach, or teammate. =D> =D> =D>
Great job to both teams.

-Probably not. The Rabid Roseau Mafia would like to see Billy Lund as coach. Notice he did not come out to get his medal??????? Hmmmmmm...Interesting.

Lund's name wasn't mentioned all tourney long during pregame introductions(coaches). Don't know why...I guess he wasn't on the list.

The last Big coaching change probably had something to do with his dad griping to get Hokanson out of there.

Well not likely to happen now. Hard to fire a state champ coach           8)

So, are you trying to say that the Rabid Roseau Mafia won't be tearing up that 'supposed/rumored' petition that's been floating around Roso even after Oliver lead them to a State Title?

That would be too classless. But watch out if Roseau doesn't win again next year or the next.

Either way, that was one of the best coached Roseau team I've seen in a long time. What discipline they displayed in the Section final and again tonight. I'm in awe of Ness, the rest of the super sophomores and their senior leadership. A complete team in every sense. They had no weaknesses when it counted most...Way to go Rams!

Congratulations Roseau on a great tournament and season. You pretty much dominated the whole way through and definately deserved to be the state champs. I also tip my hat to you for never giving up considering that Moorhead dominated you the first two games and you came back and beat them when it counted. I was very disappointed to see Rapids lose bu they just didn't have it tonight. NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO. But being that I like Roseau too it wasn't as hard to swallow this loss as it was last year and I was kind of ticked about the whole ordeal with Jensen last night and I didn't have as much fire for them to win tonight. GREAT SEASON ROSEAU AND RAPIDS.

CLUELESS - Bill Lund had nothing to do with Hokey being ousted. If Bill had enough power to get rid of coaches Dahl would have been outa SCSU long ago.
MSHL lets you name 2 assistants and Roseau has a long standing policy of naming the "teacher pay" assistants first. Bill will get all the credit from the people he cares to get it from; the players. If any coach has more respect from his players than Bill Lund I'd be amazed.
