Both of these final two teams left would be a lot better off than Hutchinson in the state tournament anyways...Kraus and Meyer are a lot better than Allen.
In sections == Allen has played better than Kraus and Goosman. And he did it with a team that has more of an offensive mindset than the rest of the section

Section 3A HockeyScout wrote:I am still a little sore that Hutch lost when they had a very talented group. Not really a huge fan of either of these programs that are left. Both have too much arrogance but I am hoping whoever wins will represent 3A well.
New Ulm I think has the advantage that they have won this game before, 3 of the pas 4 years. I think that gives them the edge. i think they are very even this year. Also, there will be a ton of PRESSURE on the Cards.
I thought Luverne was sloppy on Saturday Hutch just could not bury chances for the life of them.
I will go New Ulm 4 Luverne 2.
The Eagles return to the X for the 4th year in the last 5 chances.
One thing I am excited for judging by the crowds these two teams brought on Saturday get to Gustavus early seats could be hard to come by!
I'm having eagle for breakfast with a side of TROUT!!!!!
ROLL CARDS ROLL!!!

In my opinion, the cards are gonna come out flyin. Yeah there is a lot of pressure on them, but do you see the motivation? They have an undefeated season going, and they're one game away of going to state for the first time in school history. I think they win it 6-2, can't wait to see both of the crowds!!

You talk about the cockiness and arrogance of Luverne, but like it was said, you're going to put that on some kids? It's people like me, you and everyone else on this board that's chirping, not the players. Have you met any of the kids on the Luverne team this year? If you have you might be singing a different tune.

Schools are starting to close. The weather looks to be a wet blanket on the 3A fire tonight.
How will this all play out if they have to postpone tonight's game? I was ready for some popcorn and a good show tonight too.

Or maybe you have Mr. Anderson on line two....

I haven't heard anything official, but it is definitely not looking good for getting this game in tonight. Winds around 40 mph and a blizzard warning starting around midafternoon for a lot of southern MN. 21 below for a low tonight in New Ulm, 9 below in Luverne. Almost tropical!
It will be interesting to see what the postponement plan will be.
Stay tuned!

I'm fine, I had some personal matters to attend to the last couple days. My number is Luverne -4, I'm sure trout will come in at nuse -4. I want to see a good game, don't care who wins.

I hope everyone plans on leaving early because ASA is gonna run out of seats. People will definitely be standing all around the arena.

This could be a nightmare. Luverne and new ulm each brought the biggest crowd to gustie. Both crowds packed their sides.
They might be turning people away!

I think you 100% right. This is going to be a mess, another huge problem is going to be Parking...that lot is tiny.

uscho site has GAC seating at 1,000
rink finder has ASA seating at 1,000
Parking-there is a big church parking lot right across the street, which will fill too. If there are fan buses that will help a ton

That both ASA rinks seating added up? We've all been in there, ASA doesn't have as much seating as gustie... cmon!

There is no way the seating is equal at both arenas...GAC has more.
