Dude, you guys got outshot 46-8. It's okay though, I know it's not important at North Metro to win games,(good thing too, because you guys can't!) it's all about trying to hurt kids and take penalties. And don't worry, I'll make sure I tally up the big hits on Tuesday.
And by the way, is this Nick or Clint trying to talk up that embarassing team from NM?

whoever it is...give it up...u guys suck sooo bad! we should make a new rule that if ur team hasn't won a conference game then u can't post. Blaine is 298759057 times better than u'll ever be. by the way u guys have like 4 schools and still suck.
was it thursty that said "if we had 4 schools we'd be in the NHL" at the game against er? That was hilarious

Some observations from the Blaine/ER Game on Saturday...After the first Blaine goal you could see the students on the ER side get a little nervous like "wow they just scored on us at home" than 20 seconds later you could have heard a pin drop from that side of the arena with the utter shock that they are down 2-0 now.... Not too long after that though came the 8 minute power play on couple very questionable penalties. On the Blaine side the student section needs to keep their chants going longer... They do 2 repeats and thats it they are done...The need to keep them going longer just to help get under the opponents skin more... When there was even strength hockey it was a very fun and decent game to watch, and a few occasions I had some side bets with those around me on how long it would take the ref on the ER side of the rink to blow his whistle. Take way all the calls some fruitless and should have been no calls, the first one on Blaine for the Slash, or midway through the 3rd when ER got called for interference in Blaines end when one of the Blaine players in an attempt to make a play bumped the ER player and fell down and drew a penalty that way... However like I said before good game both ways taking away the refs and what not it was very enjoyable to watch on both ends of the ice....

The most frustrating thing about the questionable calls was that it was coming from the ref farthest from the play. The guy closest to the play wasn't going to make the calls. However, the Bengals looked good on the kill and if it wasn't for some unbelievable shots from Martell they would have shut them out. It was great to see Schwartz prove me wrong and play a great game.

You are correct BS the ref nearest the play typically never even made a motion to make a call, it always seemed to be the ref half way across the rink who got to see the play through a crowd, yet he still made it. Schwartz really seemed to be on his game and hopefully he can keep it going....

Or a goalie at Blaine?

One player is a lot less than what Elk River has. Plus, he plays JV

Actually there are two transfer goalies at Blaine. Schwartz is along with Distad who plays JV.

0 goals and 2 assists. Quite a pick-up. Aus is abusing Open Enrollment well!

Blaine should finish on top. Schwartz played well again before catching an unlucky bounce on a wrap around. After losing the shut out opportunity Aus let Thompson play the third because most likely that will be his last period at Varsity for the year. Hollerud and Schwartz are both playing well as the rest of the Bengals team. I don't see how Blaine doesn't win the conference

Andover struggled this year. They have a bright spot in the future with freshman goaltender Matt Ray. He has helped the huskies defeat Osseo and Coon Rapids and has kept the huskies to 4 one goal games (Centenial, Champlin(twice), and Anoka. The huskies are not graduating any defensemen and has the #2 ranked bantam A team comming up next year. The huskies have a bright future and will be a force in the coming years.
