 Would be huge for section 5AA and possibly help the boys knockoff half depleted half solid favorite MG

Maybe he didn't find a secure (better) spot and felt the Bengels were best for him. Mr Hockey candidate if true.

Goon, are you the same "Goon" who is Bobby Brink's uncle on the ND Sioux board? Hope you are just hearing rumors rather than confirming Brink is gone.

612hockey, agree that 5AA would be almost a tossup !

Some tell me Crimson has more depth, thoughts?

MG still has 2D1 committed returning forwards in Tyler K & Trevor K, & If Haider, Faber & Kelley had stayed (considering their Bantams just won AA State) it would have been (literally) 99% they go to State. But those 3 departed. Brodz, Hillman & Rickels give Blaine 3 top end players to lead the team, If they get strong goaltending, they will be the favorites in 5AA. Plus Blaine's is next up (in the 4 team C_B_A_MG) 5AA rotation since 2014  Well actually...its back to a 3 team rotation now

But with McGreggor graduating & Francis departing, I expect Cent to be down some this season, likely resulting in a 2 horse race in 5AA.

I'm hearing he hasn't decided yet and won't decide until just before the HS season. He may be leaning one way or the other though.

Good point B.B.!

But after all if we didn’t report on rumors Innuendo and opinions, what would we have left to put on this forum? 😀

What i find idiotic is all of the statements beginning with "I'm hearing...or I've heard from a reliable/credible source..."

My point, if the source(s) are credible then the source should be named, otherwise it's conjecture #FAKENEWS.

My source is as credible as there is...short of being the kid or a family member of (the kid). That said, do the
math on this (regarding the source) But as The Exiled One noted...wont know 100% until the season actually starts.. ☝️And frankly...who the actual source is...isn’t any of your business BB...and with compliments to WM, I’m not nearly as diplomatic & polite as you...when responding to these types of assertions ☝️

In that case, my source is much better than yours. :)

The player doesn't know what he's going to do yet. I can state that with confidence. He may be leaning one way or the other and may be talking it through with people close to him, but he hasn't made a definitive decision.

EDIT: And for the record, I'm intentionally not reporting news, I'm refuting it. The report was that he made up his mind. That was incorrect and I wanted to point out it was incorrect. If I learned today exactly what he WAS going to do, that would be news, but reporting news isn't my motivation and I wouldn't share that info. Correcting erroneous reports is my motivation.

If you say he hasn’t decided yet I believe you. But those close to the program believe he will be returning; sounds like they may be disappointed in the end...or maybe not (if he returns) In any event, I have no horse 🐎 in this fight...just relaying what someone told me when I asked them directly, someone with a 🐎 in the fight, postgame up in Duluth Saturday 😉

Hmmm, XO ,by that definition we might have been hearing from same person ? 😀. Probably
at the same place recently🤔?

In any event ,I believe my phrase was “ a high degree of certainty “. Still think that’s the case . But agree, nothing is certain until we see the hallways at BHS in early November

Hoping that B.B. does return! I’m seeing a 65 point season and Mr Hockey contender

Not trying to start any rumors or anything, but has anybody heard updates on Jackson Jutting’s status this year? Last I heard he was returning to PL, but he’s doing very well it appears with NAHL Magicians. Interesting dynamic though with his head high school coach being an owner of the Magicians. I think Prior Lake could surprise some people in 2AA if he returns.

Very interesting...gotta try and get over to Richfield and check it all out. Caught a game or two there last Feb and it was decent puck. Way more energy and competitiveness than I anticipated. Worth $7 price to be sure! Could be more interesting than ever w/ the talent they've brought in there too!

Magicians are certainly doing well! NAHL has really improved over the years, and while the depth may not be the same as USHL, there are always a few elite division 1 players-to-be.

Caught the Austin Bruins and Magicians game on hockey tv last night. Magicians steal a 3-2 win in Austin.

A lot fun local players to watch!

Austin: Ian Mageau was all over the ice - played with grit and speed all game, Levi Stauber doing Duluth Marshall things ;) , Dante Zapata (2 goals), Lane Krenzen playing a good 2 way game/

Magician: Ethan Haider (7 wins in 9) stole the game. Cameron Buhl winning shootout goal. Chris Konin looking big and playing well lately. Matt Stanton continues to lead the team in scoring. Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe and Jackson Jutting both solid.

Austin announcer was pleasantly solid on the PBP. Made it easy for us home viewers.

If this means Brink, I wouldn’t be surprised. Sioux City had him on the third line last night.

What excitement? Unless I’m missing something it looks like WM just asked to clarify a rumor. And no, it isn’t well known either way. Even several of his Skipper teammates aren’t sure what he’s doing.

As I mentioned last month, He will NOT be back in High School this year. It will all trickle out starting this week. Skippers will be fine. They have enough depth but replacing a player like Brink is never easy.

To confirm what goon has already reported, I’m getting official word Brink is not returning to Minnetonka. Hopefully we can settle the matter now, though I know that probably won’t actually happen until Nov 12!
