oh no, lourdes will def. bring a large crowd, and it is somewhat of an advantage....but its not going to control the outcome. There will be plenty of red wing fans and there will also be neutral fans their like myself...just enjoying what i hope to be a great hockey game.

Davey,

I am sure that when you are the better team and your goaltender plays well it really does not matter where you play.

Sioux beat BC in Providence for National title and it was wonderful listening to the silence in the 3rd period. Sometimes silence is nice. Predominately Boston crowd as Boston is only 40 or so miles away.

I expect to make noise cheering for each team and great plays. I hope both bands are going to be at the rink that adds so much to the game.

Good Luck again boys enjoy the moment.

Red Wing staff had some interesting Rochester ties. Former coach (Pohl) was the Lourdes coach in the early days before moving the RedWing. Maybe some relatives still live here? Nemanich has a brother who is a Doc in Rochester. RW used to be a Big 9 school.

Some of us fans don't really care who wins but will go just because it should be a great game...Rather watch H/S hockey playoffs instead of a Junior team with kids that have no local ties. I'm lookin for an overtime game.

Jim and Dan Smith were cousins to the Pohl boys as their mothers are sisters...

It was fun to watch Dan play goal in the State tourney vs his two cousins

It went Red Wings way that day. We will see who wins tonight.
