Hill coaches

Post by Nostalgic Nerd »

The assistant coach, the one in the wheelchair, Schwartzbauer, is he still there? I was wondering if he's in charge of the conditioning, etc, and Leckner spends more time and the X's and O's? Does anyone know what their specific coaching assignments are? Thanks in advance.

Do you mean Pat Schafhauser?

Agreed. Its pretty clear they work very well together. Hard to argue they aren't one of the top few coaching staffs in the state.

I don't know if he is still involved (due to coaching Hamline) but Scott Steffen was the off ice training guy for many years at Hill.

How many years now has Leckner been head coach? And how long has Schafhauser been an assistant?

Lechner has been HM's head coach since the '97-'98 season

Schafhauser has been HM's assistant coach since the '98-'99 season.
