MV vs Tartan 4AA quarter finals

Post by livindahockeydream4life »

Should be a great game the only meet between these two on the season was a 2 to 2 tie
Anybody have any predictions?
(Remember it is playoff hockey)

I actually think Alex Gierke has been playing really solid as of late in nets for the Titans.

Mounds View has struggled, for the most part, offensively. Even though coming off a 4-3 win over North St. Paul, MV has scored only 9 goals in it's last 5 games, including just 3 versus Park.

Tartan has a bit more offensive firepower.

I predict Tartan 4-1.

Moundsview on top 4-2. Other than Hill and Matomedi, Moundsview is better than most the other teams in the Classic Suburban conf.

Not sure if there is any truth behind this (as it came from a student) but rumor has it Bradley might be trying to play in this game. If that is true that is a HUGE scoring punch for MV.

Yes it would, If he is at mid season form. But it could really hurt them also if he doesn't have the legs nor the lungs. It would be pretty surprising if he came in and was a major factor at this point in the season.

I would be very leary if I was coaching to let this happen......short leash.

I can't imagine where MV would have finished had he been in the lineup all season, he was a force at the end last year for MV.

Quarterfinals haven't been too friendly to the Titans. :)

So glad MV won!!

Nothing against Tartan, but it always seems like they talk a big game and then choke big time when it counts.
