why is it just district 8? why not 2 or any others?

I'm sure the other districts could hold their own an All Star game as well.

The teams and players from District 8 were able to enjoy an All Star Game simply because one of the coaches was kind enough to donate his time and energy to make it happen.

It's quite an undertaking (especially at the end of the season), to get the approvals, the ice time, and to organize the entire event.
