Jefferson (10-0) @ Eastview (8-2) 1-6-09

On paper Jefferson should win easily. This is a home game for Eastview and the Jaguars definitely have a huge target on their backs.

I think this one will be closer that expected but I still think Jefferson comes away with a win 4-2 with an empty netter at the end

O'Shea has played out of his mind the last two games for Eastview and there offense is coming around. I agree Eastview will keep it close but Jefferson has more offensive power and the thing Eastview has that I have not been impressed with is their Defenseman. Giving up 50 shots to Burnsville and 40 something to Roseville lately. This will be an will even bigger test than those 2 teams.

Jefferson will win this one and I wouldn't be surprised if they had 45-50 shots. Eastview will create smeo chances for themselves but I don't think they are to that level this year. Tough week ahead for Eastview as well with Jefferson, Tonka, Eagan, Wayzata the next 4 games.

Well unless EP beats Jefferson next time around I really don't know who is gonna challenge this team cuz i thought Eastview would give them a run but 5-0 speaks for itself...

I wouldn't count Eden Prairie out until the game happens; Jefferson won 2-1 at home. Playing in Eden Prairie could make all the difference. Only time will tell.

Jefferson will probably have a let down game somewhere, just like most teams and lose to a team they should easily beat or barely escape.

How would a 25-0 or 24-1 Jefferson team be seeded in 2AA? #1 would be hard to justify unless a couple Edina players break their legs and depending on what AHA does the rest of the season they could earn the #2 spot in my opinion, or even #1 if they win out.

I can't imagine how you can't give Jefferson the 1 seed if they go 25-0. It will be interesting though. AHA could win out and I don't think they would have a chance at the #1 unless the other 2 really struggle which I can't imagine happening. Head to head and common opponents will play into it alot I think. AHA is slightly hurt playing in the Missota as well maybe, nothing they can really do about that. Edina has the toughest games ahead of any of the 3 and it could really play into there advantage if they do well in those games not saying they would even have to win every single game either.

The X-Factor, if one of the head coaches as some bad blood with other section coaches it could slide them down in the seeding.
