I am all for the exteding the time to 20 minutes for HS games, but as an arena employee this means that the last group of the night will also be extended later. That means I need to work later....get up early so shorter night. Gonna kick the groups out of the lockerrooms. Some groups will not be hap...

As I am someone who has worked at an arena for more that 20 years, I know that coaches enter locker rooms of guys or gals without knocking or announcing all the time. I also know that some girls teams will walk around their locker rooms with the doors wide open, just as the boys do. In my opinion wh...

I watched Cathedral yesterday play River lakes. They are pretty good and handled RL without an issue. But one cheap hit late in the game takes away all the respect. Sartell played my AHA and they also look pretty good. They move the puck well, a few good players (5, 18 and 26 stood out). Goalie star...

yes there are 6 or 7 football players on the team so they need to wait till Saturday. First football championship coming home. As far as the team from the scrimmages that I watched they are much faster than before, few new players with skill, some small. Because it is only scrimmages I can only see...

I watched about 20 minutes yesterday. They have a different appearance than with coach Palm. I am hoping that the excitement and the hard work will produce better results than we have seen in the past few years. I noticed a couple of new players that are pure hustle, like from the teams 10 years ago...

I do not have names, but I have seen them all summer and this fall. The one thing I see is that they have a couple of hard working boys. There are like 13 seniors, so the remnants of Palm are still there. New coach will need a couple of years. Schedule looks a bit better for them. Will know more in ...

I heard yesterday about the hiring. I know more about the girls hockey coach, Tara Rasmussen. But I am looking forward to meeting him. My only question is, why did he leave an up and coming program, that he played for. I can only think the challenge is the reason. I will check in with the team when ...

I believe that the school wants to move to A. All the talks I had during the season with people that have the insight want to move to A. By school size they should be in A, but I am one of those people that feel all privates should be in AA. But there is also a no compete clause in my book. They sho...

I would have to add that Holy Family was also instrumental in taking students from AHA. HF is a newer school in the western suburbs with a nice facility. AHA is an older school, that I am proud to be a part of, but it is much easier to travel 10 miles from Shakopee and other western suburbs that it ...
