12 min. period's?
I know this is off topic but are bantam's in D4 playing 12 min. period's also? If so that is new's to me. That would be absurd.

small assoc.
More than 15 skater's at PW level is trouble. 12 min. period's along with the new standard of play will lead to kid's seeing 2 shift's a period, not good. You can get away with 10 or 11 skater's on a team in some district's. I have seen this very situation happen, assoc. decided to go with 2 team's....

Something New
Elliott, your prose is alway's good. Let me throw some feedback at you. When you first went through the passage to the taller cliff's, no body was there to stop you. If you went through the next passage now, that burnt out forest might well be a beautiful re-grown forest, and no-body will be there t...

Roch Bantam's
Roch's No. team last year was substantially down from previous year's and the So. team was very average. Where Roch. No. used to throw 3 VERY strong lines at you , last year it was 2 with a weak 3rd line. People will say that there were bantam eligible player's on HS team's and that would be correct...

past and present?
You are correct about PW's 2 year's ago, so I must ask how relevant that is. Correct me if I am wrong, but this last year's group of Far. bantam's won the Dist. 4 tourney when they were PW's. 2 year's later and minus a Seth H., they were arguably the weakest team at the Dist. 4 tourney that included...

Goaltending?
Goaltending will play a huge role in A Bantam's next year as no body seem's to be very dominant. Albert Lea might have the edge there. I don't see Albert Lea, Owatonna or New Ulm on your list? If you are familiar at all with Dist. 4 A Bantam's, you would know that those team's alway's give you a bat...

Will last year's bantam's from Orono stay? If they do, Orono all the way. Great Soph. goaltender and other key player's will make them tough to beat. If there is some movement of player's, I go with Far. This is a very hard working group of kid's that can just flat play. Helgeson looked VERY good in...

owatonna goalie
You are dead wrong. He was a very good goalie and was a huge part of their 2 trip's to state. There was never a great deal said about this kid and he seem's to be a very humble kid. I watched him on numerous occasion's play very well against better team's. Ask Buffalo or NP about him. It is my guess...

Dist.4 A Bantam's
I don't see a clear favorite in Dist. 4 next year. I think it will be as wide open as last year's race, however none of the top 5 team's will be as good. Goaltending will be a large factor as it alway's is and that edge would maybe go to AL as their goalie got all the load last year. Faribault has b...

Top 5?
Seth Ambroz isn't even the best '93 in New Prague. Yeah he played bantam's this year but was a total non-entity. There are plenty of PW"s that could have skated up and down the ice with bantam team's, especially in D4. Seth might very well grow into a very good hockey player but ease up on this...
