Look, I'm just trying to figure out which MIAC schools improved themselves with their incoming MN HS players. Still would love to hear some names if anyone's aware. As to your assertion that D3 kids have better chances at employment, depends on the student, the major, and the school. Anyone who's p...

You had stated there are better players not selected and it was easy to see. I was pointing out that those better players (no denying they are really good players) could be substituted for other player and you would still have really good players not selected. There just isn't much difference in th...

There are a lot of really good players that didn't make it. Which ones got screwed??? My guess is if you take the 10 that you think got screwed (at one level) and give them spots and take 10 out then we will simply have a different 10 that got screwed. Probably very little difference between the la...

And just to finish off the selection for the 16s. Only 4 new players this year compared to the Nat selection as 15s (1 goalie, 3 defense). This does not sit well for MN Hockey when it comes time for new players to tryout for the expensive HP process. And we thought that USA Hockey and MN Hockey was...

Playing DIII hockey is nothing to snub your nose at these days. There is more talent in DIII now than there was in DI years ago. With the talent pool that MN hockey has created the last 3 years you will see many top players playing DIII since DI programs only take 2-4 players each year. And we can ...

I am sure that you had full radar on checking people, schools, and other things happening at the birthplace of the...

And this is why people don't like you. Most people will let your BS slide as long as you stick to talking about how great your kid is. You can't stop there, though, you have to make sure you get a dig in on a child before you go. You are a douche, there's really no other way to put it. There are a ...

Go Guy, as I looked backed on the thread I'm confused,(doesn't take much) are you a resident of the Lakeville school district or did your son open enroll? Somebody mentioned Apple Valley. Please clarify. He's dodged this question many times. His son is obviously open-enrolled. You are correct I do ...

I thought you could dress 20 players? If so, only 3 will sit. How many players are on the varsity? 18 skaters 2 goalies = 20. Kept 23 skaters so 5 sit. 41 skaters between 2 teams can only dress 18 per team on a night. Simple math 5 sit. I wonder if they will have to wear suits in the press box. If ...

what does the large number of 8th grade girls skating varsity or JV this year say about the state of girls hockey. Was there a lull in the numbers at the 9th and 10th grade level and a strong 8th grade class or is this an overall dip in girls hockey? Seems like more numbers coming up at U12 and U10...

But you are in the Apple Valley School district correct? No but getting warmer just going the wrong way on the map. Again, you do live in the Apple Valley School District, do you not? Pretty sure if your neighbor does and has to open enroll his kids at LVN, that you would as well. Or is that incorr...

Re: Tic Tic Tic......Tic Tic Tic..... Bomb goes off
Well the bomb is ticking at ole Lakeville North only about a week away from the long term, loyal North players who grew up in the program with one goal to make the high school team are cut for the promised recruits. Then Tic..Tic..Tic and Boom the life long north parents and supporters go nuts. Sta...

They actually can kick you out of the Association. What happens after that is up to the District Director. But I can't imagine any DD wouldn't allow a kid to go play somewhere else. Would probably be better than being punished in the home Association.[/quote] Are you positive? When D6 implemented t...

I think there is always extreme cases where it may make sense to waiver out...But okay I will play along. Let's say they don't have an A team...I say just play with his buddies on the B team. What harm will that do? Because if the parent is moving the kid out because lets say they don't have a squi...

I thought Jungles team had 30 skaters alone? Did you think all 30 of them got to play? Yes, all 30 got to play. 18 skaters were brought to each tournament. Obviously some played more and some played less. There were a multiple of factors that came into play, as to who was on a specific tournament t...

CI was able to talk a former youth goalie into putting the pads back on. He hasn't played in 3 years, but is a good athlete (and was a good goalie). They also were able to pull up one of the bantam goalies to play JV (they only have one bantam team and the better goalie stayed at bantams). They will...
