Re: tryout fees

Can any one tell me if their associations charge a tryout fee for their girls teams? My association charges boys but says all girls have to tryout so they don't have to pay. I think thats being discriminating ! The boys all have to tryout to make a A or B team so whats the difference? I think most ...

Again- all in all, great city, great tournament. Point system screwed '98 Rockets and Flyers. I think we all agree 'Nats had no business in finals.
And yes, Tbay was a good squad. Glad they won, a little suprised they didn't route the 'Nats, but they won! Congrats.

I have firsthand knowledge that the point system for next years BTB tourney will be corrected. As far as the officiating....that is not a reflection on the Storm Association, but rather the pool of available officials from the Duluth area who were available. Yes they may have seemed to let the kids...

Congrats to the Monopoly Hockey program. Last weekend their 99' invite team took 2nd and their 00' invite team took 2nd. This weekend in the open tournament their 01's took the championship and the 98' Flyers (their top 98' team) took 2nd. Sounds like things are going in a good direction for that p...

You must be really bored. I followed the link you included. You have to click on each player's name to see where they are from. Besides, it's not like the Blades don't do the same thing, they just don't have the stones to post the name(s) of their out-of-state or out-of-country player(s) on their w...

Re: WHAT?

Dont give me the Iceman in with the Machine and Blades. THe Lake Superior Stars 98 destroyed the Iceman. Without a doubt the Machine is the top 98 followed by the Blades, LSS, Stealth, Synergy, then the Iceman. After those it is really watered down. In fact I would say those are the AAA teams and e...

Remember, no such thing as a scrimmage. If there's a ref, a clock, and a score it's a game. Exactly. They are "scrimmages" by rule I beleive. We all know they are games. Youth hockey only has district play, tournament play, and playoffs that are officially games I guess. All other games a...
