Re: .
Ryan Hoehn, Danville Wings .27 Not bad for a kid from Waseca. Many on this board said he would never make it because he was from Waseca not a hockey school. Nice to see many of us were wrong, a kid like this can give hope to lots of others at smaller, weakr programs.

and......Blackhawk, assuming that for some reason they gave Holy Angels a goal on that play, that still makes the game 1-1, not a victory for your beloved Stars. Re: Juniors Hockey
If they have already left High School you can go to each league or teams web pages and look. The USHL is just starting their play-offs, so they haven't had a draft or anything yet, the JR B National Tournamnet is this weekend and those teams generally don't get their kids until after JR A teams do. ...

Parise to the Devils
Zach Parise left UND and should be suiting up for the New Jersey Devils tommorrow night. Alot of chatter about it on siouxsports.com and prideonice.com, but it was confirmed by Blais this morning. No word on Vanek or Ballard as of yet though.

Carl needs to get a clue, he is just creating more animosity toward himself and the Twins, nice way to get people behind a stadium push in the Legislature Carl you moron. The longer this drags out, the less I'll care about the Twins, heck I can see nearly every single Braves and Cubs game for FREE, ...

Re: WCHA Championship
Any team giving up 4 goals a game is bound to be beaten, there are way to many goalies better than Brandt. Briggs had better shape up or it will be a quick tournamnet for the golden rodents. Yes it was an entertaining game, but the Gophers give way to any good scoring chances. Scary considering Mont...

Re: seeding
Interesting point Joe, but Moorhead was 0-2 going into the state tournament against state tournament teams. There is no way you could have seeded them second. Duluth East was 2-1, Elk River 1-1, AHA 1-1, Lakeville 0-0-1, Wayzata 0-2, Centennial 3-0, Tartan 0-0. Based on that, you would have had to s...

The major problems as I see it.

1) Provicialism, some teams especially in the A or smaller classes if it is put into all sports, and I assume it would be. Some programs due to location just don't play schools from other areas. Is it fair to compare schools based on that? At least in sections,...

Re: A great day for the Irish
Sheids, other than Warroad, of the teams in 8A give me one good quality win over a team that wasn't in section 8. You can't because there aren't any. The closest thing to one would be LOW over Virginia, but the rest lost to teams such as Armstrong, Bemidji and Kennedy, not exactly quailty opponents....

Re: don't know
Might have to be like one of those asterisked MLB or NFL records. 3 extra games plus 2 extra minutes a period equals 321 extra minutes in a season or to equate to Hill Murray's standard; Centennial played 7 more "games" than HM did. Not to take anything away from Centennial though, they ha...

Re: joke i get it
Mike Kramer probably won't get it based largely on the competition he faces. He is a good player, tied for 5th in scoring as a Junior in last falls Elite League. People look at kids from Breck and Blake and they get more credit than a kid from Como, but realistically Blake and Breck don't play sched...

Re: best tourney???
AA set attendance records at the Thursday afternoon session and the Saturday night session. That explains some of the jump. Going by past years reciepts, the A tourney draws around 20,000 total, so the AA side must have pulled in 100,000 this year. Probably close to the all time record for AA/single...

Re: Fifty-Four and 6. We did it just 4 kicks!....by SS
Pick the section winners 3 months in advance, a few sections yes, but the fact you or anybody, could predict Warroad and Moorhead 3 months in advance has a whole lot more to do with how weak 8AA/A really were, not how great those top teams were. That said, had Warroad not decided that they could jus...
