the best offense against the trap is the dump and chase. the reason it works so well is that most coaches don't realize that the other team is using the trap

most coaches sit their top line in the 3rd period when they are up by 10 goals. Shame on the coach for letting his 1st line play in this type of a blowout. This coach shows no class. And, for the scoring, who cares if you can get 5 or 7 points on a night like this. Show some class Mankato West.

I think you need to find a team and stick with them. It is not about how many wins you get in these tournaments. It is about learning to let someone develop your kid over time, remember it is not a sprint, its a marathon. Too many kids go from team to team in search of something better, when its not...
