Great game at Memorial last night. Roseau gave Wayzata all they wanted. A side note to the game. Roseau scored twice in the second period and both were disallowed. The first one was an awful call by an official who was out of position and called the net off. Goalie knocked it off as he pushed off but the puck was already in. The Wayzata guys in front of me said obviously a good goal, it will count. The ref never made a call on the play and then after discussion, waived off. (stinks to get homered, at HOME ). The 2nd was unfortunate timing. A shot from the point was literally 6 inches from the goal line when the whistle blew for a helmet coming off in the corner. The correct call, but if it happens a split second later its a goal. Good crowd and I hope Wayzata enjoyed the atmosphere at Memorial. Final Wayzata 5 Roseau 4.
