Not sure on that one. I was also wondering if Holy Family has ever beaten Edina?
The Hornets looked out of sorts most of the night. Some of that can probably be attributed to having Nevers and Morgan back for the first time, without a single practice to get everyone up to speed. It can also be attributed to the Fire's "protect the house" game plan, which teams like Hill-Murray and Duluth East have given Edina fits with over the years.
Great job by Holy Family. I was working in the penalty box. From there, I could tell how engaged their players were. They were blocking shots and cheering each other on. Total buy-in.

Last time was the 2001-02 season. They lost their first three before winning.

We happened to be right in position to get Holy Family Osbornes game tying 5 hole goal and Grinnells GWG last nite . Unfortunate D zone turnover by Hornets , and they also had a TMMOI situation at that same moment. Fire deserved the win in this one.
