I know this is a minor detail to some, but if you attend a lot of games at different venues, a true fan has a very high interest to hear who scored, the assists, the penaltys, the shots on goal totals, starting line up names with clarity, The St. Louis Park Rec Center has to have the absolute worst PA system in the state, are there any worse out there? Braemar in Edina has a nice system, what would a great system cost a city to install?

The IRA is a great arena, but the sound system is outdated for sure. Hibbing has good sound quality.

Prior Lake and Le Sueur were always the worst. I used to do radio broadcasts and could never hear the scoring or penalties. I had to check them between periods. I've heard Le Sueur got a new system this year.

This thread started out knocking the SLP arena PA system. I second the motion! For a relatively new venue to have an inaudible system is ridiculous! Put in your ear plugs, read your program and face the flag when everyone else does.

Park, move the speakers closer to those who may be interested in the the speaker's utterances!

There is no PA system in the state better then the coliseum!

If one is paying attention, you can actually hear and follow the action soon after turning off Como into the fairgrounds, long before parking your car.

The clarity and diction of the voice has no peer.

I don't think it's so much with the pa system, but, at Aldrich, it depends very much on what individual is announcing that game. Some are tough to hear and understand - almost as if the microphone is to close to the announcers mouth.

I'm sure if you've been to games at Aldrich, you know what I'm talking about.
