Warroad Vs Hibbing 12/16

What do you all think about this match up at the Gardens in Warroad? I see some people on this board are getting high on Hibbing after their 5-0 start. I'll say that Warroad will win by two goals. The score will be 3-1. Some people are saying that Warroad is down this year, but I believe they will actually make it to state again. They always seem to have a great team. The only teams that stand in there way in 8A are E.G.F. and T.R.F. and I think these two teams might not be as good as first thought. <p></p><i></i>

Has anyone else noticed that when the warroad people say that warroad is going to be good. Everyone else gets on them and say they aren't as good as we say they are. Yet this year where more than 1 person from Warroad says we are going to be down, everyone thinks they are gonna be good. I dont' get it <p></p><i></i>

I think that Hibbing could take it, not by much, but there could be an upset. not likely, but i could happen. I wish i still lived up there to see some better hockey, hutchinson is down terribly, but I still gotto support my brothers games a bit <p></p><i></i>

Who does Warroad even have anymore as far as stand out players? The only names I can really think of ar Marvin and Potts. And from what I have seen of Potts he is really good until a couple goals get past him then it is all downhill.<br><br>I beleive most people in Warroad have accepted the fact that this is not going to be a year like the last three. They are however still good enough to make it to state if they are able to play great games against TRF and/or EGF in sections. <p>Moorhead sets a new state tournament record!</p><i></i>

I may be one of the few on here that are saying it, but living in EGF now and knowing many people that are High School Hockey fans, mainly around section 8 and most people i talk to say its TRF's year. so its not just me. However my boys from 690 are starting off pretty nice. Lets just see how the season works out <p></p><i></i>

Marvin is heads above a most players - 1 stand out.<br><br>Harren is tough and has good hands - he is not tall but does get noticed - 2 stand outs.<br><br>The Boucha kid is big and soes some ncie things - 3 stand outs.<br><br>Potts saved Warroad's bacon against the 'Jacks on 3 occassions - he definitley was noticed - um 4<br><br>#6 on D made several good hits - I heard his number mentioned by the Bemidji people - that makes 5<br><br>I saw at lest 5 other guys make plays that a lot of HS kids don't make.<br>One of them a soph by the name of Ravndalen who put the game winner in, I believe, that makes what? - 6. <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... liott70</A> at: 12/14/05 9:15 pm<br></i>

Warroad without Harren and being on the road, I think Hibbing has to be favored.<br><br>But I will go with Warroad - 5 to 3 with an eng.<br>But I think Hibbing has a vrey good shot come March in the Excel. <p></p><i></i>

Hibbing is much better than people are giving them credit for right now. I am going with the so-called upset on the road Hibbing 5-4 OT. Hibbing will do the same to Warroad at the Xcel come March as well. <br> <p></p><i></i>

What is going to really make this a tough game for the Warriors is their sniper will be watching from the stands courtesy of the Courthouse Cousins. The only thing I know for sure is I'm really glad this is not a Section game with this situation. If Hibbing wins this game I don't think anybody can call it an upset as I believe they will be at the Xcel in March out of 7A. I do know this if Warroad does get beat it will not bode well for Greenway on Saturday. <p></p><i></i>

It isn't an excuse when it's fact that your teams sniper is sitting in the stands - he is a HUGE piece of the puzzle for this team and it will test the teams meddle. I know the Greenway game should be a win, what I'm saying is are the lowly Raiders not only going to get crushed on the scoreboard but also pee-pounded, IF Friday doesn't go the Warriors way. And I don't believe I said the Warriors would lose; I said it wouldn't be the upset everyone's talking about IF Hibbing were to win - they are pretty good you know. HUGE difference. But I don't think you read the posts carefully as it looks as if you engage your fingers without your brain many times around here.
