Top 03 Forwards Playing MSHSL Next Season

Post by WestMetro »

New topic to get the summer Forum covid saturated brains restarted again.

The 03s have a very strong D corp

But who are the top ten 03 forwards playing high school next year? (excluding SSM and Gentry)

Have received quite a bit of variety of answers, so thought Id throw it out to the forum.

Seems to be a consensus, mostly anyway, on Jackson Blake at #1, but consensus falls off quickly after that.

I would look at any Gentry forwards who played for that awesome Tier 1 team that move to the MSHSL this year. Some of those 03 players are off to Ann Arbor, some will play Juniors. If any of them play in the HSL, they will light up the scoresheet.

I’ll throw out a few more top 10 2003 Forward names I’ve been hearing, with Blake and Lamb getting the most votes so far : Fechko ,Fisher, Huglen, Borst , Marshall

Along with Bump and Strand and Mahoney mentioned above , that would be ten .

Disagreements?

Things have changed as a country but I was under the impression Brody Lamb was all but in Colorado next year.

Huh, that would be a monumental loss for DC and certainly change the Class A landscape. I assume you are referring to one of the AAA programs like the Rampage or Rough Riders? The final call on what the school model will look like could force tough decisions for lots of the high end players who have options outside of the MSHSL.

I can't clarify anything until rosters are confirmed for Juniors teams. The Lucius brothers will be in Ann Arbor. A review of that 03 roster has 4-5 other high octane scorers that will light up the high school league.

They aren’t the only ones I am talking about. Others will score a lot of goals.

Thanks BP, nice list!

( worth mentioning Jackson Blake might have been a 40 pointer if he’d played a full season . Based on 7 game point production , and also Elite League)

A list of Top 5 MSHSL players in state for 20/21 season, regardless of class, has to include Joe Miller/Blake. Committed to Minnesota.

He's an 02, this is a list of 03's regardless of class. Some 03s are seniors this coming year, some are juniors.
